Disappointing Biryani Experience – Lacking Flavor and Authenticity

We recently ordered food for an office party, including biryani, which was prepared in bulk. Coming from Indian roots, I must say it’s disappointing to see something labeled as biryani when it lacks flavor and tastes like plain boiled rice. This dish fell far below expectations and was nowhere close to the authentic taste of biryani. It’s surprising how bland and poorly prepared it was, making it one of the most disappointing food experiences I’ve ever had. If there were an option to rate below zero stars, I would have given it a -5. Please take this feedback seriously and review both your menu and preparation methods. Wonderful meal and superb service from staff. Did have a misfortune accident of a menu falling onto a glass that was half full leaving the table soaking wet when ordering. Staff swiftly changed everything and replenished drink and popadoms which had been effected by the incident. Cannot thank them enough for acting so efficiently and doing so well. The food arrived very quickly and was incredible, highly recommended. My parents and I have just had what can only be described as a 'mini feast'! We had the lunch offer and there is still enough left for a bite to eat later on! The atmosphere, the people and the food was amazing. Very flavourful instead of just heat, as some Indian restaurants are. Sylhet though is Bangladeshi and the food relies on the mix of herbs and spices bringing the flavours through rather than trying to burn your palate off!
