Visited for the first time on Friday 12th August. Although we booked the restaurant was very busy and we had to wait for 40 minutes for a table. We were asked if we would like a drink while waiting and requested 2 draught Kingfishers, we did not get these and reordered with another waiter but were then served 2 bottles of cobra. The service was pretty chaotic to be honest, but gave them the benefit of doubt as they have just opened a week or so earlier. We ordered poppadoms and dips to start and these were not fresh and a bit stale. The main courses we ordered came as ordered but by that time they had ran out of Cobra and Kingfisher as there was a large birthday gathering in the restaurant. The drinks were not very cold and the chicken main course not tender. My lamb course was tasty and tender, however, I was really ill the next day and have been fragile with stomach pains ever since. All in all not a good experience which I will not repeat. I will be sticking with my usual restaurant in the market square for...

By far the best Indian restaurant we've ever been to - anywhere. And we've been to a lot!
We discovered this gem a couple of years ago, and it just keeps getting better. Over the last six months, we've found ourselves going weekly – it's that good.
The food is consistently delicious: rich in flavour, beautifully presented, and always cooked to suit your tastes. Whether you prefer a bit more heat or less sweetness, they're happy to adjust – and they get it just right every time.
Incredible value, too. You won’t find quality like this for the price anywhere else, no matter what type of restaurant you go to.
Beyond the food, the manager is developing his team to deliver exceptional service. Warm and welcoming, with a lovely touch of humour. They are genuinely interested in your experience – it makes every visit a joy.
It's now truly our absolute favourite place to eat.
Sadiq - you're creating something magical...
Read moreThere was 3 of us for Sunday lunch, taking advantage of the Buffet deal. This includes, one starter, one main, one side, and one rice. The menu is wonderfully diverse, and the chefs dishes are really well chosen, with dishes ranging from incredibly mild, through fragrant to very hot. The tandoori prawns were utterly perfect, the breads and rice were delicious, and the Lall Mirchi blew my mind; it was complex, beautifully balanced, and absolutely a 10/10 from me, the dahba chicken was also absolutely superb, so fragrant and moreish. My partner had keema rice, naan, and a lamb dish. He utterly destroyed it in short order! Man is currently in a food coma on the sofa. The side dishes were lush, the chickpeas and gobi aloo I can definitely recommend. All in all a fantastic decision for a Sunday pig...
