A rare gem of a museum. I've visited the Gallery several times over the years to view the periodic exhibitions held by local studio potters, or simply to enjoy cake and coffee in the tearoom, and to look round their collections which are superb. Their 18th-20th Century tea bowl and tea cup and saucer collection is one of the best in the country, and they have some very rare Spode items, plus an extensive collection of Minton etc tiles, rare items of studio pottery, Farnham wares, slipware etc. I spot something new on...

The tea room has delicious home made cakes and the staff are friendly and polite.
There was a historical photograph exhibition set up in a large gallery on the day of my last visit, I imagine one of many temporary exhibits and exhibitions!
