Coffee House — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

I am a regular of this coffee house well should I say I’m used to be a regular of this coffee house

The last three visits I have been there I have watched people feed their dogs off the table next to me

Dogs bark so loud loudly that it cuts through your train of thought when you’re trying to relax nad have breakfast, et cetera

And when sat next to the waiting area, a large dog sniffed around my son‘s ankles and licked his plate whilst the owner’s back was turned. he also whipped his legs with his tail

Coffee house are you a restaurant or a rescue centre?

You’ve lost a customer, unfortunately

I’m not really the type of person to do this kind of thing where I leave reviews like this but you need to know the whole dog policy is ruining your place

It’s a shame because you have some really lovely Staff and the coffee is good

But this whole notion that people can just bring in their dogs and allow them to be fed at the table and just basically do what they want is ridiculous

Me and my partner came into the cafè for a hot drink and something to eat.

The selection of drinks is brilliant. Large variety and good quality too. The atmosphere is great. After a make over it looks and feels like a nice environment to spend a little time and money. However the food here, isn't great.

All items of the breakfast menu are cheap Aldi's basic brand type of food.

My partners choice of food was a delicious wrap that unfortunately wasn't up to expectations neither, very oily and made eating it near impossible as it was falling apart and just became a mess.

Staff was friendly and offered another dish. A toastie. Couldn't go wrong with a toastie. Dish was good.

I'd come back for a hot drink and to spend a little time and money in the future but I'd go...

Visited here last Thursday and completely forgot to write a review! They were amazing, I had the breakfast wrap I believe and it was so filling but very enjoyable. The coffee was so good and didn’t taste metallic (some places do). The service was standout and the staff working there are amazing! You can tell they enjoy their jobs. I was reading my book for most of my coffees and it was nice to sit with a coffee and book and not be constantly interrupted as I’ve had in previous cafes. Really great cafe, lovely food, even better staff!

Also more recently visited and had a tuna melt toastie which was also delicious and filling. Coffee was great as always and so was...
