We recently dined at Neekalash and it was a great. I personally like a confirmation text when booking a table, taxi etc to make sure there’s been no mistakes made during the call so we were already off to a good start there.

The restaurant is nicely designed and is double the size you think when you first walk in. The staff were attentive and the food was delicious.

For starters, we had meat samosas, onion bhajis, and paneer, and they were absolutely delicious. The samosas were the best I’ve ever had - and I’ve eaten a hell of a lot of Indian! The onion bhajis were good, and the paneer was packed with flavor.

For the mains, we enjoyed chicken tikka masala, butter king prawns, biryani, and fresh naans. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The dishes were rich and indulgent. The biryani was fragrant and packed with flavour. Portion sizes were good throughout.

Overall, everything was spot-on, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for high-quality Indian food.

Vegan options available. It looks like a nightclub from the outside but it is a restaurant inside!

Only downside was no allocated parking to the restaurant (but there is street parking after 6:30pm) and I think it’s time for them to retire the R. Kelly song from...

I can’t recommend this Indian restaurant highly enough — everything about my visit was exceptional from start to finish.

The food was simply amazing: every dish was full of authentic flavour, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care put into every recipe. From the starters to the mains and even the sides, every bite was delicious.

The service was just as impressive — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and nothing was too much trouble. They made excellent recommendations and checked in to make sure everything was perfect.

The ambience of the restaurant is lovely: cosy yet stylish, with a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay and savour every moment. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into creating a space that feels both special and comfortable.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Indian meal with fantastic service and a great vibe, this place is a must-visit. Five stars all the way — I’ll...

Popped in tonight for a takeaway after a recommendation from a friend who lives locally. First impressions were good, it was busy for a Thursday night, and it was a bustling atmosphere. Despite some negative Google reviews I instantly thought this is the place for me! Ordered my usual King Prawn Balti and it arrived promptly despite the restaurant being busy. All the signs were good! Headed back to my hotel and was looking forward to tucking in. Unfortunately after the first tasteful things went rapidly down hill. It basically surmounted to prawns with rice in an insipid onion and tomato sauce. There was absolutely zero spicing despite the appearance of chilli seeds. The only saving grace was the naan bread I'd ordered which was the most flavoursome item on the plate. Now I'm not someone who makes a habit of writing reviews on restaurants for arguments sake, but this was so bad I felt completely compelled to, for the sake of others. Maybe it was an off night but who knows? I certainly won't be going back...

Lovely little place but did not enjoy the food, we started off with some starters, the portions were too small for 3 people, taste was 5/10, thought as we there now we might as well give them a try on mains. Sorry to say, but food was very bland and again portion sizes were too small. On top of that they charged us each to have chutneys, never have I ever had that before, we couldn’t stop laughing. Honestly I think me and my friends were better off staying at home and making the food ourselves. They were busy on the Saturday night, so understandably the service was slow. Waited over an hour for mains. Drinks were fine, no complaints there. We won’t be going again, if you don’t mind simple bland food then it’s worth a try. I love the fact that you knew which table it was and have the timings. Also I’ve never been charged for chutney before.

Fabulous food and the team there are always willing to stretch your palette and will encourage you to try new things. Super food from Bangladesh. My friend who loves chicken with pineapple was thrilled to find that when they said with, they meant with... Another return meal (to beat the Valentines crush!) we had a tandoori mixed grill (huge! 1/4 chicken, butterfly prawn, lamb chop, lamb kebab, chicken wings) a mirch chicken (coriander and Tamarind sauce) rice and Daal. The mixed grill came with a salad and a naan. Absolutely delicious although the mixed grill was (unusually) a tad overcooked.
