We tried this place out once before moving to the area and have been back since but I'm still not blown away by it. It was extremely busy when we went (a Saturday - Wednesday was less so) and we waited forever between courses and then to pay the bill and get out. Obviously didn't want our money? We were sitting near the kitchen yet the staff seemed to forget we were there. The second time there when it was less busy and the staff seemed more attentive but lost parts of our orders (so we were not all eating at the same time), did not refill our table water and still took forever with the bill. I wouldn't rate the service highly and I was very dissatisfied at the prices. Nearly £70 for two people for starters and mains. If the food and/or service was amazing, I could be more understanding. The food was nice but not outstanding. This restaurant is good for a big group but has the feeling of a chain restaurant. No authenticity and missing the Italian vibe. For authentic Italian food and atmosphere in Ware, I would still suggest Sfizio around the corner instead. However if you just want a nice pizza/pasta dish and you're not worried about price, give this place a go. The scallops with bacon and mustard sauce was very nice, the ravioli had a good flavour and the American pizza was a...
Read moreAvoid this place like the plague!!! The service is genuinely the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. It is so poorly run its comical. It reminded me of a restaurant that belongs on Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. We waited over an hour for our deep fried starters that were clearly straight out the freezer. If that wasn't bad enough we then waited another 45 minutes until I finally managed to get a waiter to look into where our mains were. What followed was lots of shouting and hand gestures followed by the arrival of our mains 10 minutes later with a "sorry I know its not good enough". The waiter suggested I speak to the manager which I happily agreed to however she didn't care or have any interest in talking to me. This is the kind of place that is so stuck in their ways and poorly run that I'm amazed it still exists. The kind of place where you feel rude asking to order another drink; tables just left with their finished plates sitting on their table for 45 minutes before someone draws the short straw and finally clears them. Top that off with it being so loud that you can barely hear yourself think, let alone what people on your table are saying. Spare yourselves some pain and frustration and don't go here. You have...
Read moreBeen dining at zeros for a few years without a problem and would always return regularly. The last time we went staff were rude and pretty much ignored us. It was a busy night so we just eat, paid and left, nothing said. Tried it again tonight. Ordered a fillet steak that was £30 but no bigger than a cupcake and as flat as a pancake. I asked for it to be cooked medium-well (but more med). Yet It was burnt and very well done. I sent it back. No way that was a fillet! Never sent back food before. My plate was later returned with a slightly bigger steak but more of a cheap thin cut, very thin scrap of meat. Certainly no fillet again! It was bone dry, not seasoned, cheap meat, not a fillet and not worth £30, wasn’t worth £10 let alone £30. We were a group of 4 and didn’t I want to spoil the night of our Christmas catch up by sending it back again for the second time, even though they were all horrified and finished their meals by the time mine arrived. It’s a shame they have let the restaurant...
