Upon my arrival for checking in, there was no one at the desk so I rang a bell. I was approached by the receptionist without making any eye contact or greeting me, she only asked for my name and without making any sort of talk handed me a key for my room. A very unfriendly attitude. I understand we all have bad days. Then I came down and asked information about shops and supermarkets, and she said, all the supermarkets are closed at this time. Again very short and unfriendly. I googled and found there 2 major supermarkets 5 minutes walking that were open until 11pm. And the time was only 8:30pm. I was not informed I could have had breakfast in the hotel, as there was no customer service at all. It’s a shame that some people are so unprofessional and they brings the image of a business down. I work for a major Australian airline and I have extremely extensive customer service training and travel around the world experiencing different hotels. The room I stayed was great, was clean and had some nice ammenities, so thank you for that. And the bed was very comfortable. Wifi...
Read moreBreakfast staff lovely young lady with brown ponytail couldn't have been more helpful, that's the only positive to our weeks stay. Grey haired old woman in the restaurant very rude, ignored us for 5 moms but kept looking as us, not even a smile or acknowledgement. When she did come over and we said we had not booked she huffed went to speak to a bloke that shouted a cross the restaurant go stand over there by the main doors. Then told us there was no tables when there clearly was 4-5 empty, but we could have bar food. We went elsewhere. 3 says into the stay I asked for our room to be cleaned, bed wasn't changed and 1 large towel with 2 large rips in and a hand towel was left. I had to ask again for the bed to be changed and 2 large towels and 2 hand towels to be left in the room for us. Only 2 rolls of single toilet paper for 7 days! We ended up buying our own. disgraceful level of service and standard. Never will I stay at a...

The room was a decent size, tidy. There was a TV, but to be honest we didn't really watch it so can't comment on it. The shower was a good pressure and warm. The bed was a good height and comfortable, and the Aircon/heating system was good.
Next door there's a beef eater which was decent. We didn't have breakfast in the morning because when we originally booked, it said this would be £15 each but when we were there we saw a poster saying it was only £8 or something. We decided to go elsewhere anyway.
The only thing I didn't like is that there was only two tea/coffee sachets, which I just think is a bit stingy. Also wish there was a little fridge for fresh milk or something, but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall it was...
