My first visit here and I was really looking forward to it. I'd heard amazing things. The cafe was busy but not full and I enjoyed the brightly coloured interior. It took a while for someone to come and take our order, but I could tell they were a bit short staffed. I ordered the Canadian - which on the menu is described as being 3 pancakes with bacon, sausage and 2 eggs. When the plate arrived I quickly noticed that there were only 2 pancakes on my plate. I caught the attention of a waiter and he said he'd get the missing pancake out to me. Crisis averted. So I tucked in, but no pancake arrived. I then noticed a lack of bacon on my plate too. Didn't really want to make too big a fuss as my friend had suggested the café and I didn't want her to feel bad. I waited and waited for the pancake to come out - my plate finished by this point - and when I finally got the attention of the waiter he just told me that they had run out of pancakes. Had I not asked, I wouldn't have been told and would have still been expecting the pancake to arrive! What I did eat was tasty and the presentation was pleasant but the service and lack of communication really irked me. My son ordered pancakes, Bananas and ice-cream but it came with other extra fruit and mint (which was not stated on the menu) it looked lovely but not for my autistic son who ended up being put off his meal. Read moreI visited today with my mum and autistic child for some breakfast, we left the restaurant shortly after our food, Just got round corner and my child started crying for her beefeater bear, she left in the restaurant do we went back to the store just 2 mins after and were we were the bear had dissapeared, and when asked staff they said they hadn't seen it but that's the only place we have been too as was going towards home,
And they staffed said no one else has sat there since and when we said it and my child was the smerarked and laughed,
Very dishonest and felt so hurt as it's one of my child's sensory toys my child loved
