Ordered at 7.30pm, via Deliveroo, which states the place closed at 9pm. Restaurant accepts my order, app informs me that my order will be delivered at between 8.20-8.50pm. I get a call from Deliveroo at 8.31pm, to say that my order has been cancelled...
Great, instead of letting me know that you're not open at the time it says my order will be delivered (so I can order elsewhere), don't have the items available (you should really know this before you accept my order at your end) and apparently your printout wasn't working in the restaurant (how do you then know that my items aren't available 🤔); you leave it until AFTER your revised closing time of 8pm (which would have been only 20 minutes after I placed my order) to advise me you've cancelled my order. All refunded back to me, blah, blah, blah.
Contacted Deliveroo and they just issued platitudes and apologies and didn't really understand that it wasn't a refund that was the issue. It's the manner and time in which my order was cancelled.
Totally unprofessionally, and unbelievable. Won't be ordering from here again. Thanks for nothing. Absolutely...
