We normally like to come to the links for special occasions as the the carvery is lovley , however we came today for my grandmas 90th as usual there is time limit for seating as they get busy which is fine , however we was seated around 25/30 minutes later that allocated time slot due to the other people still eating this was fine we sat in the lounge area and had some drinks , after the carvery sone of us decided to have desert and few more drinks while the other eat , during our desert we was told we needed to leave as the other people was here for the table , ( even though we was seated later so we should of been allowed our allocated time ) we ended up having to leave the deserts and the drinks we had paid for as they wanted us to leave , my mother spoke to the bar staff about this who didn’t seem to care less . We also had to wait for partbers vegatruan itek which was was told would be 5/10 minutes and came out 30 minutes later when he sat with a cold plate of vegetables .
This isn’t our normal experience here however I feel like they had over booked and was shooing people out the door before we had finished eating which was partically poor customer service .especially as we wasn’t given our allocated time due to the other people...
Read moreBooked table for a 13 people. We wrre celabrsting a 90th birthdsy. We arrived on time but had to wait 20mins for our table. As the poeple vefore hsd not left. The food. The servers very good and polite. Bar staff were good, over all. However, the meal was spoilt by being told we needed to move as others were waiting for our table even thought we had not quite finished our desserts and drinks. We had only been seated for One hour. This spoilt our celebration and the good things about the place. I won't be coming back due to the bar waitress attitude. If there's times at tables they...

Although it was lunchtime, I asked for the pie from the evening menu and it was available so I had Turkey, stilton and leek pie. My wife chose the Classic burger. Both were well presented and generous portions and very tasty! The service was top notch, very friendly and attentive. Left feeling full and happy , well...
