We wrapped up our Easter long weekend in Skegness with lunch at Wolfies Wine Bar, and it was a great way to end the trip! Five families dined together, and none of us regretted it. The location is perfect—just around the corner from the rides and the beach, which made it super convenient with the kids. We ordered a variety of food including pizzas, garlic bread, chicken dishes, and some soft drinks like mojitos. The food was decent overall and there was something for everyone. The service was fine, and the staff were polite and helpful. The ambience inside is lovely, with comfy sofas and chairs that made it easy to relax after a busy morning out. Lighting inside is a bit on the dim side, but if you sit on the side facing the rides, there’s more natural light. The toilets were reasonably clean too, which is always a bonus. Only downside was parking—it was a busy weekend and the nearby car parks were all full, so we had to park about 5 minutes away in a residential area. Not a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during peak times. All in all, a good spot for casual dining in Skegness. Would consider visiting again!

We decided to give Wolfies Wine Bar a visit after holidaying in the area and looking at reviews. I have holidayed in Skegness many times before but never tried eating in here, but this time I thought lets give it a go and I am so glad I did! The upstairs restaurant is a really nice setting - perfect for overlooking everything lit up in the winter evenings if you get a window seat. The food quality was amazing - really generous portion size, excellent value for money and tasted fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed with the bbq pulled pork chicken melt, it was very fresh and flavoured well, and the home made chips were delicious! Compliments to the chef Great service, staff were friendly and attentive. They have an extensive menu with lots of great options to choose from, menus vary slightly between lunch time and the evening, but plenty to choose from on both and lots of great dishes that I haven't really seen anywhere else before. I cant wait to try the cheesecake and/or cookie dough next time. This will now be a regular restaurant to visit when I holiday in the area - a fabulous find!

We visited here tuesday 25th an didn't manage ta get a table as we were in a large group but had been told the food was really good so decided to go back on the Wednesday we found a table to accommodate our group of 4 adults an 6 children my partner went to the bar to order drinks an was spoken to very rudely by the foh that night, me and my sister then went to order our food there was no queuing system so my sister checked with the polite bar staff an was made aware of where she needed to order from. She was then approached by the foh an told that the que was to big an she had to go back to her seat an wait to be called yet other people were still queuing I then stated to the bard lady that the foh attitude was not great and was then confronted quite aggressively from over my shoulder by the foh an asked why I fort that I calmly told here she had been rude to two members of our group for no reason she then told us we didn't have to eat here but we were already ordering another round of drinks that she could see had just been poured so we stated that we had ordered them an was planning on eating here she then went on to say we wernt welcome to eat here so we decided to leave then as we went back to our table to tell the group we had to leave she came back past an was laughing at us we asked to speak to a manager witch she then told us she was the manager we was then told by another member of staff that she was not an in fact Sarah was the manager she was just supervisor that night an they had had a few complaints about her already but as for the rest of the staff they were lovely but she really made this a horrible experience an made my family feel very unwelcome not great as we were on...

Me and my partner went for a meal here on a quite weekday. Upon arrival we was greeted and shown to a table which was inbetween 2 other occupied tables making it quite loud when the rest of the restaurant was empty, would be nice if it was evened out to give us some privacy but we didnt mind. The waiter was a nice chap and brought us some drinks we ordered. We then waited just over 15 minutes for the waiter to take our food order (bit long rly, we had actually finished our drinks waiting). The food didnt take long to come, for starters was the chicken coujons which were lovely, the main course was rump steak, chips, onion rings, peas etc my partner asked specifically for no peas but she got them, wasnt really a problem. This course we didnt finish as the steak was very fatty/chewy and the chips had been 2nd cooked as they were rock hard and unedible. The waiter collected our plates and we explained when he asked if the meal was okay, the waiter apologised and we felt that he was concerned by our feedback which was nice, we then ordered deserts which the waiter let us have a free 1 for our unedible main course, the deserts was fine and we finished that no problem. It was our first visit and we will return for a 2nd shot as the food is good, i think it just depends what you have. All i can recommend is abit better faster waiter service (it might of just been us/a 1 off) and sort them chips and...

Bloody awful place. Never again. All we wanted was 2 coffee's. We sat down and waited and waited and waited. 20 minutes later I decided to go inside and ask someone to take our order. "Yes OK I'll send someone out. 15 minutes later still nothing. Normally we would just leave but today I had nothing to do for an hour so I thought I'd just see how long it would take to get 2 coffee's. Another 10 minutes past. We saw at least 3 other couples sit down wait for 10 minutes then leave. So the next step was to call them. "Oh sorry we'll be straight out ". 5 minutes later absolutely nothing. Another phone call. 5 minutes later someone came out and took our order. Another family sat down next to us. Nobody came to serve them. The chap collared a table clearer and asked to order. They eventually got someone to take their order. Another 15 minutes. A waiter came out with his drinks but still nothing for us. We have paid by now so there was no way I was leaving. 10 minutes later still a young chap came with our coffee's. I didn't have a go at him, not his fault it's the manager or the person so called running the place. I never write a report of this length but this place needs avoiding by everyone. They might learn something about actually how to...
