Windmill Restaurant — Restaurant in East Lindsey

A Night out with Friends. We hadn't beento The Windmill for quite a long time so it was a nice surprise to see the small changes that they had made. We order our meals while we had a pre dinner drink. We were shown to our table by a lovely young man who was so polite. Our meals arrived ALL of them looking good enough to eat any of them . I had chosen Rump Steak, with all the trimmings & it was cooked beautifully. My Husband had Fillet Steak & our friends had ordered Bear battered Cod & Steamed Salmon. We all enjoyed the food. Then a tray of the most delightful Sweets arrived at the table. Well it was very hard not to order one in fact we all had a sweet. I had Brownie Sundae which wasn't on the tray but they did one for me which was heaven. A Fantastic time was had by us all. The Staff are so pleased to see you and nothing is to much trouble for them to do for you. We will be back again for another delightful meal in the near future & I would recommend that if you are in the area of Birth of Marsh then pop in for a w/o earful meal you will be glad that you did. It's a beautifully set restaurant in Burgh le Marsh. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It's was a very last minute booking for my Dads 70th birthday. He is very particular eater an it's very difficult to find places for him to eat. There was 5 of us 4 adults an a child. We were seated in a nice alcove overlooking the windmill which is beautifully lit at night. There was a really nice variety of food on offer for us all to choose from. All of the food was beautifully cooked and presented. We've been visiting Burgh le Marsh and staying at Sycamore lakes just down the road for over 20 years an unfortunately we have never visited The Windmill before now. We'll definitely be making future visits in fact my mother an wife enjoyed themselves so much they went back for afternoon tea the following week an they thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to visiting...

What a truly fantastic find and experience. Visited last night for a 3 course meal with my wife and 6 Yr old daughter. My daughter has a severe milk allergy and the staff couldn't be more accommodating, checking each item with the chef to make sure dairy free was an option. I've dined at 5 star restaurants in London, Los Angeles and San Francisco that weren't a patch on this place. The food was absolutely perfect only rivaled by the service. Lovely ambient setting. I've never seen my child so chilled. I didn't just leave feeling belly satisfied I also felt calm and relaxed. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back for more.
