Excellent service, food is beautiful. Been going every week for many years. Arguably the best Indian restaurant in all the local areas. Food in pictures is onion bhajis, meat somosa, chicken silsilla, which is easily there best signature dish and 2 nanns. One plain and one garlic. Always busy any day of the week. It is not a big place, so spaces are limited and it is even worse at the weekends. Suggest booking in advance. Price wise, very acceptable. Doesn't cost a fortune and they do not have an alcohol licence, so you can go to the local coop literally 20 metres away and get cheap booze as well. What more could you ask for?

They don't care at all about what they're doing at the Bilash. The quality of the food is poor (they just use pre-bought sauces. See photo), with very small portion sizes, and totally absent service. If you like going here you really need to analyse your standards and broaden your horizons by going to some of the decent restaurants in town such as Apne.

First time here will be back good choice of currys and a few English dishes was quite busy so service was a bit slow but overall very happy but take your own alcohol

Our local "go to" curry house, food is always good, service can be a bit slow during busy times but that's because everything is done freshly. Even if you have a takeaway it's still nice and tasty . If you like a great, reasonable priced curry, you wouldn't go wrong visiting here. #UPDATE ...... 01/03/25 .... Booked here as usual for a meal with the neighbours, table was booked for 6pm . We arrived at 17.45 and were shown to our table. Poppadoms arrived shortly after and at 6.15 they took our order for the meal we wanted. We were the first people in the restaurant and by the time they'd took our order , it had filled up to nearly full. Including a large party of 12-14 . We thought we'd done well to get our orders in and wouldn't be waiting too long. How wrong that was 😕 . At 6.45 we noticed the large party being served their main meals, no sign of ours. We'd been in there and hour by now . We're we served next ... ???? , NO...... two more tables that arrived AFTER us had their food served. Time was getting on and it's now 19.20 pm myself and my party were very disappointed not to have been served and after waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes we walked out. Picked a Chinese takeaway up on the way...

Went there yesterday 24/04/24 for a family birthday meal, and two of us have had food poisoning! Both had Byriani - one was a special supposed to have chicken, lamb and prawn in it - it was full of cashew nuts, no sign of any lamb nor prawns, just dried up tiny lumps of chicken on a huge bed of lettuce with an omlette shoved on the top - probably a good job really as goodness knows how poorly we'd be if it did have lamb and prawns in it too! We've been unable to get into work today due to our symptoms. The decor is dated now, half the light bulbs in the ceiling above us didn't work - probably to stop you seeing what you're eating tbh - it took about an hour and 25 mins to actually get our food and they forgot half the rice orders and were 'warming' the currys up on a hostess trolley with a camping gas oven on the top! By the time the rice arrived the curry's were luke warm!! Very unorganised, general manager was ok but everything else was abysmal. What the hell has happened to the place? It used to be so nice and the food used to be excellent - avoid the place for now, they need to get their acts together and stop making customers...

Overall really good, staff are very welcoming and friendly. Starters were good, the mixed kebab was perfectly cooked and I’d highly recommend. The chicken tikka stir fry was full of flavour I enjoyed every bite. The garlic and cheese naan breads were very tasty but had sliced burger cheese I’d prefer some proper cheddar. The Garlic fried rice was nice and had nice big chunks of garlic. The mains were ok , the chicken tikka masala was incredible and probably the best I’ve ever had but the chicken pasanda was so bland it had virtually no taste and I would not recommend, the chicken was cooked well but it really lacked taste. I also asked for no tomato on my side salad but it still came with tomato. I’d really recommend giving this place a try as it is very good plus it has a very nice decor however please stay away from the pasanda until they review...
