What a Gem .....we booked a table for 2 on saturday evening as this restaurant had been recommended to us by our very foodie friends and we were not disappointed - beautifully constructed menu with some very interesting combinations, quality of food was superb and choice of sensibly priced wines to accompany - excellent service and very knowledgeable host who had the most perfect manner about him. Loved the fact that there was no wine list ....the host assessed our menu choice and gave us his recommendation ....absolutely spot on. So glad we booked in advance as several diners turned away. No apology, no attempt to make amends after their blunder....

When paying I wasn't asked if everything was OK so I commented about the toast to be greeted by a blank look on the woman's face but no apology. I alway praise good service and rarely comment on poor.......this was very poor. And for a cup (barely) and two cold pieces of toast the cost was £6.40 Thanks baileys but that was an experience I...
