Two Magpies Bakery Beccles — Restaurant in East Suffolk

We visited Beccles recently. We were (not too politely) turned away at a nearby Cafe because we had a small dog with us. However, we then found this little gem. My wife was outside with our dog and we were attempting to communicate with me inside whilst she stood at the door. We were warmly invited inside by the delightful lady assistant who immediately offered the dog a treat whilst we selected our purchases. We then ordered the most wonderful Brie and Caramelised red onion sour dough toasted sandwich which was simply awesome and real value for money. We also had two enormous fruit scones for later in the day which were also first class. The selection of items is wide and varied. What a fine ambassador for Beccles this business is. Customer service at its very best. We will without doubt be returning very soon. We would encourage anybody who seeks value for money, service with a smile and even a welcome for the dog to visit. What a gorgeously tasty little bakery with a lovely variety of more original products as well as classics. I had a sausage roll, which was delicious and the best one I've had in the last few years. A little pricey, but my taste buds felt it was worth every penny. I had chocolate and caramel cookie, which was yummy too. I could happily have eaten another one straight away 😆. A lovely lady served me and was so friendly, it made the experience more enjoyable. Having visited most of the Two Magpies bakeries/cafes I have to say that my favourite is definitely the Beccles one. In my opinion this is the friendliest one by a long way! One of the highlights of my week is to go and have a coffee in here and a chat to the lovely ladies (a special mention for Sharon, Izzy and Sian) who are always very welcoming and appear to be pleased to see us!
