Butchers Arms — Restaurant in East Suffolk

Not only a great pub, but also an incredible community asset to Beccles as a whole. The landlord and staff make you feel so welcomed and the pub has such a warm and comforting atmosphere to it.

They put on some awesome events too, and put forth a great amount of effort to have creative and fun new events popping up all the time, while also having some mainstays each month that are a blast (such as their vinyl night).

This place is a gem of the Suffolk area and a cornerstone of Beccles. I look forward to coming here every time...

I haven't visited this pub but Google think I have.......so cannot give an honest review, I did however drive past so I can give a review on the road, it was tarmac with a few potholes here and there , I have attached a picture of a road to help with description although this is not the exact road. Staying in Beccles and favouring real ale above all the commercial stuff out there we were pleasantly surprised at the number of hand pulls on. With the choice of seven we went for the stout Robin which was well presented and tastey. It did lose its head quicker than expected but this didn’t alter the flavour. All in all a good pub. We will definitely call by again the next time we are in Beccles and hope catch the Greek menu as it too...
