Costa — Restaurant in East Suffolk

Although arriving at 2.50pm on a Sunday, the queue of 3 were advised the the coffee shop was closing in 10 mins, even though its advertised as open till 4pm. I had arranged to meet a friend here at 3.30pm and was now faced with making alternate plans. On top of this I had to endure the unprofessionalism of Lorin! He couldn't do a drinks order - in order! He was jumping from drink to drink enfuriating the manager and customers alike. He seemed to find this hilarious and even refered to his manager as scary mary when addressed by a colleague, he showed a total disregard towards her. He couldn't take her direction seriously and had I not already paid I would have walked out at this point. I'm glad I don't live in Beccles and was only passing through as this would most definately NOT be my prefered...

The staff are incredibly polite and friendly. It is refreshing to have a general conversation with someone serving you as opposed to them just taking your order and moving on to the next customer.

It does at times suffer with a lack of seating during particular busy periods such as school holidays, but 95% of the time you can find a seat. It is conveniently located next to the toilets in Tesco in case you needed to...

A little Costa inside a Tesco store. It's busy most of the time. So be prepared for a wait of around 15 minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful. This branch is very community spirited and is often raising moneys via sponsorship or raffles. The drinks are always hot. It's the normal Costa menu so no surprises, but it's good if a little expensive. Clean, tidy, friendly and everything you expect...
