OLD SCHOOL COFFEE LTD — Restaurant in East Suffolk

What a lovely little café, they have a good selection of hot and cold drinks, and a selection of cakes and pastries.

I decided that I couldn't do a review unless I tried their coffee and a little treat for myself into the mix, plumbed for a cappuccino and a Bakewell slice, and wasn't disappointed.

The coffee was excellent, the grounds themselves gave a good bite and was subtly strong all the way to the end, the right amount of milk to partner with coffee, didn't saturate the flavour, now the Bakewell slice was just, exactly how I thought it should taste, looked good tasted excellent, it didn't last long at all.

When I visited the place was about averagely busy, a few tables were occupied, I decided to take out, there wasn't a long time waiting to be served and the servers were both pleasant and attentive to their customers, one was making drinks whilst the other was back and forth from the kitchen, serving the tables and helping at the till.

There was a good buzz and everyone seemed to be enjoying the place, made you want to stay.

Heard about this place recently and thought I'd pop in as I do really enjoy my coffee and seeing new places pop up local is great.

A great cup of coffee, Enjoyed a cappuccino and a cortado and it's truly a great place to get coffee. Definitely the best I have come across in beccles. Can't speak for their food as I didn't have any but it all looked fresh and delicious.

Definitely a spot worth going to if you like your coffee and want a nice location to grab some light bites.

Apart from waiting15 minutes for two flat whites, this is a great little coffee shop. The staff are lovely (hampered only by a slomo espresso machine [hence only 4 stars]), didn't eat [hence only 4 stars] but the croissants and cakes looked delish and they stock some fine breads. In the loo, they've solved the graffiti problem (if you can't beat 'em etc...) and very thoughtfully there is a basket of free sanitary towels. All in all, a very nice little caff serving a decent cup of...
