Caffe’italia — Restaurant in Eastbourne

previously i left a beaming review as i had great experiences of this cafe. however, today was different, i was sat in a table next to two elderly men making racist comments throughout breakfast, then, about three bites into my breakfast, a dog walked into the cafe, came up to my table (which was quite low to the ground) and ate my breakfast!!! i had my infant daughter on my lap, so i couldn’t do anything to stop the dog as i didn’t want it to hurt my daughter. very uncomfortable experience. it took a couple of minutes for the dog owner to even bother calling his dog and coming in (he was a fellow customer sat outside). embarassed.. and hungry, i paid for my breakfast at the till and left. 11.95 for a coke and three bites of breakfast was not what i hoped for today🥲 i am honestly upset as i have been coming in here before swimming lesson every week.. but now i’m not so sure, i would have thought somebody would have tried to help, offered new breakfast, anything i don’t know! i just felt really sad and...

I love Italian food and so pleased this cafe is just down the road from the "Shed" I went to see what they did and pleased to say a very yummy Spaghetti Bolognese which I took home for my tea and it was hot, tasty I had enough for two days so froze some, it was expensive I have tried Supermarket ones and wasted, I highly recommend this cafe and go in on Mondays for Italian cakes/pastries, sandwich (which are wonderful especially the salmon and Avocado). If I am too early to the shed (a crafting space for over 50s) I have a cup of Italian coffee and take some Italian sweets (which remind me of my Sicilian uncle), home thank you for coming to...

Heard good things from locals about this new café... and it did not dissapoint. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the interior is very well laid out. I had the full English with tea, and was impressed the tea came in a pot (not just the 1 poured cup that you usually get!) ... the food was of a very high standard and you could tell the produce was of a very high quality (especially the sausage, bacon and eggs)

There are also loads more food options and pastries which look amazing.
