Not a very pleasant experience with staff but I muddled through. KFC sell chicken items by the piece, should that be your preference. Ergo, I approached the girl at the till, asking for three (3) thighs. She told me there was no way she could guarantee I'd receive 3 thighs, despite my receipt clearly showing thighs. I explained that if the order were presented incorrectly then I'd have no alternative but to refuse it and request a refund. I told her we could alleviate this bizarre ' pas de deux' by either her turning around and looking in the warming cabinet, or alternatively asking one of the 1,2,3,4 other staff moving back and forth behind her to check. We eventually came to an understanding. I just hope it wasn't too traumatising for the girl. I'm not certain which was the greatest challenge for her: either being able to ascertain the difference between a thigh and a leg, or perhaps being challenged to count as high as '3.' Regardless, we persevered and the order was fulfilled. Sadly, as I turned to face the seating areas, it was difficult to find a table that didn't have completed meal remnants atop each table. I surmised this was because the rubbish bins were literally overflowing. So lackadaisical seemed the staff throughout the store I chose to take several overview photos, showing the cluttered tables and trash bins, and sent those directly to KFC. I did receive a reply and thanks for the photos, stating they had been sent to an area manager, or some such title. I realise the fast food business faces peaks and troughs of busy times. But this occurred circa 16:00 - hardly a peak time. I do hope they get sorted and perhaps properly motivated. KFC is essentially a 'global' brand and I hate seeing a property that fails to live up to that standard. And as a footnote, just out of curiosity, I added a KFC photo from an american branch and noted the rather ominous caveat posted at the entrance. It leaves one to wonder what might be in the UK's version of the KFC 'secret' recipe, and whether we should be concerned....
Read moreNever ordering from here again. Called up about missing orders. And thanks to that, my niece hasn’t had her food. And not only that, our food was stone cold and was 35/40 mins late. The lady I spoke to was rather rude and said I threatened her. When in actual fact, I said I was going to right a bad review. I do not appreciate being belittled down the phone. I did what I was told to do and called up just eat and was told that it was down to the restaurant (KFC). So I called up KFC again and she was very rude to me (same lady) and hung up the phone. Then my mum called up. (Same lady answered) and was extremely rude to my mum and wouldn’t let my mum speak and get her point across. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name other wise I would have named and shamed her. How is it down to just eat that 2 items were missing. Surely it’s down to the restaurant to get the order right before sending it out. The lady on the phone was also raising her voice down the phone at me. I find that high disrespectful. Someone who can’t handle complaints shouldn’t be put in charge of the phones. And I will call up again tomorrow and hopefully have some else to speak to about it. I can’t stand people who are rude and disrespectful. I hope she doesn’t speak to people face to face at the restaurant like that.

Read moreI have not been here in a while, but occasionally drop in if I am in the vicinity and fancy a go at the chicken lottery.
Too many lazy and rude sods work here and they leave the work to the few folks who try hard to make things work and are keen to look after the customers and the store. They are obviously under staffed and generally un-motivated, so the management should take the blame for this.
There are also a lot of customers who are, shall we say, less than ideal, rude, lazy, stupid and generally a pain in the butt, which I suspect has a rather negative effect on the staff and some folks would do well to consider that all folks can have bad days and sometimes people are doing their best, in situations not of their own making.
Overall, no worse than many other places, decent enough on a good day, which unfortunately seems to be a few and far between experience, the staff need to pay more attention, take more care and interest, the place needs more activity from them in the dining area, such as bins, tables, floors, and the loo, avoid it unless desperate and as customers, we should all try to behave better and show a bit more respect and consideration for the staff and...
