Good park for smaller children, especially in the summer when the water jets are working. Two resident swans and lots of ducks to feed. Two play areas one on ethier side of the huge pond.

Pedalos sometimes available to scoot around the water on. It's not a lake, please don't go for a swim unless you like swan poo. The Perch cafe does a decent breakfast and the staff are friendly and welcoming to everyone. The gardens are okay but not extensive. There's a lawn bowls club full of people in white who are a bit up themselves and you can play golf with you bring your own equipment on the other side of the park. The fair vists here two a year in the summer and two different circuses too. Parking is available along the Street but there isn't a car park as such. All round a nice park but not as good as Gildredge Park in Old Town or...

This is a great Park. There is a good play area for pre school and primary age children. It has a wide variety of play equipment and a rubberized surface. Next to the play area there is a water park but unfortunately that is not operational at the moment. After the children's playground, there are large areas of grass and well kept flower beds. In the middle of the park there is a man made lake, which is home to a variety of swans, ducks and seagulls. The lake is also used to provide lessons in water sports and is over looked by a restaurant called Perch. On the far side of the park there is an older children's playground. This is suitable for older primary school children and teenagers and is set in a lovely shady area. The paths are wide and flat and are suitable for prams/buggies and...

The new entrance to the park looks like a car park. It is fortunate they have put bollards across it, as I am certain lots of people would have parked there. I am not so sure about the "rocks in metal cages" walls around the refurbished restaurant. They looked particularly austere on a grey winter's day. I would imagine the metal is galvanised, but it is already showing signs of deforming where some helpful park visitor has stood on the "wall". If the wire is not galvanised, then the rust will make it look even more uninviting. I saw an Australian black swan on the lake. That was a treat. It has no doubt escaped from a collection as it wouldn't have flown that far!

lovely spot for a relaxing day out, especially when the sun is shining. The park is spacious and well-kept, perfect for walks with kids or dogs. There are several playgrounds to keep little ones entertained, and plenty of open space to just unwind. One of the highlights is the scenic lake with ducks – it’s peaceful and adds a lot of charm. There are plenty of benches and sitting areas where you can enjoy the view. The on-site café, Perch, is a real bonus. Great for a coffee or bite to eat while soaking up the atmosphere. Friendly staff and nice menu options make it a comfortable place to take a break.

Great park and field at the moment the funfair is down (June 2025) until July 2025 so pop along.. Wrist bands are £15 with access to all rides , £10 entry and small kids rides . There are food stalls , & bungee jumps that charge Tables , toilets & the fayre area is well kept and clean . O from the fayre was pleasant to talk to and really informative about how the fun fayre is run. Lovely people running the funfair and I can see clearly from talking to O that this fun fayre puts there heart and soul into everything they do and also ensuring people have the best time and experience at there fayre 😁 x
