Read moreGood park for smaller children, especially in the summer when the water jets are working. Two resident swans and lots of ducks to feed. Two play areas one on ethier side of the huge pond.
Pedalos sometimes available to scoot around the water on. It's not a lake, please don't go for a swim unless you like swan poo. The Perch cafe does a decent breakfast and the staff are friendly and welcoming to everyone. The gardens are okay but not extensive. The fair vists here two a year in the summer and two different circuses too. Parking is available along the Street but there isn't a car park as such. All round a nice park but not as good as Gildredge Park in Old Town or...

This is suitable for older primary school children and teenagers and is set in a lovely shady area. The paths are wide and flat and are suitable for prams/buggies and...
