First time visit, for a Christmas dinner. I'll start out by saying this is a training restaurant, where students are learning the craft of Hospitality. So perfection should not be expected.
It's a large open Hall with a small bar at the entrance. Plenty of space between tables and they were all set out nicely.
All the staff from waiters to Maitre D were students learning their roles, but performed very well. Sufficiently attentive whilst still learning.
The preselected menu was traditional but very well presented, particularly the desert courses. The quality was very good.
Although we couldn't see the kitchen and how they were working, they managed quite well in the challenging task of delivering a single sitting of nearly 50 covers.
Overall good value for money, and a chance to help education whilst eating well. Definitely will go again to one of their...
