Uncle Sams Rodmill Eastbourne — Restaurant in Eastbourne

FIRST AND LAST TIME I'M EATING HERE! If I could give a zero I would. Ordered food on just Eat, as I usually do, when the Food arrived, It was terrible! I had missing items and all the burgers were stone cold, and when I say cold I mean as if they had been waiting for hours before being delivered. (and It only takes 11 mins to arrive as I was watching on the just eat app) The chips was as cold as the burger and even found Some UNCOOKED, white and raw! #See photos. Nothing was edible. I phones the restaurant and they just blamed the driver and then said that I couldn't have uncooked chips but then said that he wasn't saying I was lying and that maybe one jumped out the fryer! I was shocked. He offered to replace my food if I went and picked it up but I am unable to drive so it wasn't good for me. I just want my money back as i can't eat it and just won't be eating there again. Not just because of the food but because of the service handling...

This was the second time we'd tried Uncle Sam's in Eastbourne. The first time it wasn't great but we put it down to a one off however our second visit was just as poor.

We've moved down from Brighton where Uncle Sam's restaurants are a plenty and the food is consistent in each one, all ingredients are the same, buns, chips, etc.

The buns used in the Eastbourne restaurant smelt damp and are not the same as the ones used in the Brighton ones. The chips were not great quality and again different from the ones we are used to from the Brighton restaurants. The food didn't taste great and 3 of us threw over half of ours meals in the bin after a few bites.

Both times we've eaten here we've all had upset tummies afterwards too.

I've given the restaurant 2 stars, 1 for customer service and 1 for cleanliness.

It's such a shame because we love an Uncle Sam's but we'll have to stick with having them when we're visiting...

The first time I've been back here for 30 years! Staff very friendly and professional. The burger was perfect looking assembled very well perfectly folded bag, quite honestly fit for a photo shoot!

The atmosphere in the waiting area wasn't very nice didn't feel very clean, the burger patty had no flavour and why have they decided to put ketchup in a Hawaiian burger instead of Thousand Island dressing? I was also a little disappointed with the size of the milkshake.

it seemed like there was only one person in there holding the foot who was doing a fantastic job, but I think the menu could do with a bit of tarting up as...
