Martello Inn — Restaurant in Eastbourne

I have been to the Martello Inn-(Pub) a few times as my father n Grandad used to come into the Martello almost every day around 5pm n at the weekend they would be in there for a few hrs on each day but I think that the pub is a bit out dated and needs to have a lot of work done to make the pub 21st century so more of the locals will enjoy going into the Martello as the last time I was there the bar staff were very polite n the atmosphere was OK but not a place I would give the wow factor to as I think I would probably prefer to go to the Langley Sports Club that is only...

Basic rub a dub as a 'stender geezer might put it. Main road location as in right flipping on it. It appears, on approach to have its own speed camera..food van in the car park, one fella was taking his take away back into eat.. Unprepossessing but friendly enough....

Just held my MiL’s wake, the food was fantastic and the choice was unbelievable with vegetarian options. The staff and “regulars” were extremely welcoming.

Not the most exciting pub to look at but I am left so thankful that they made the wake so...
