Average food. The ham, egg and chips was a bit strange. They use wafer thin ham that I assume was grilled. It's the ham you usually use to make a sandwich. The toasted fish finger sandwich was okay. For £7.00 I think you could of fitted another fish finger in easily. I asked for tartare sauce and the waitress said they had sachets of it but honestly I don't think she had a clue what I was going on about. There was no sachets of tartare sauce and none available for a fish finger sandwich. The latté coffee was really tasty and the service was quick.

Usually I’m at this place weekly… really enjoy their food and drinks! Great place to catch up with people and everyone generally very friendly!

However I felt so uncomfortable last time I was there, hence why I won’t be returning.

I have a very small baby, unfortunately she was crying for about 5mins. May I add the place only had one other customer at the time which didn’t look bothered. The looks I was receiving from the owner were just off, and made me feel so uncomfortable and it’s very hard for me to feel like that, I’m usually thick skinned. Honestly felt like I was being judged. Waitress was lovely about it and so was the guy behind the kitchen as they both smiled at me, however same can’t be said for the other gent … I’m so gutted but that has put me right off returning. She’s literally 4 months old, a tiny baby just wanting a sleep… it’s not like a stroppy toddler which can be told to...

Not the best service. Popped in for a light bite, lunch menu’s all over the tables… we asked if we could still order from this menu as we couldn’t see a time on them, friendly waitress said she would ask for us to which we overheard the owner (and chef) reject the request as it was for ‘breakfast and lunch only’… a bit strange as the menus are still on the tables? We watch another couple leave for the very same reason. So instead we just order hot drinks as we didn't want a full meal, again, we overhear the owner ask the waitress what we were having to which she replied we were only ordering drinks and then hear ‘Really?’.

A friendly suggestion would be to remove any time limited menu’s that you are not looking to make for customers and avoid talking about them when they are across the...

I have never met such a rude and arrogant manager as I have today at Tony Picante, the way he talks to his young staff is awful and also the customers, then will go on to discuss customers in the kitchen like he cannot be heard (not just us) the food it’s self was ok but the hygiene is poor constantly on his phone when handling food and using his hands to plate the food. When we confronted him regarding his manner he became very aggressive and surprised also implying it was because he was Italian and we were English yet we are regulars at simply Italian in the harbour who are are so friendly and lovely so this isn’t the case! Judging by some of these reviews people...
