Used to come here loyally every week/two weeks but since they have been taken over, I have had no good experiences. 1st ordered the whole rack of ribs and got 4 tiny ribs and the next day on their instagram advertised it as a whole rack, i ordered two drinks and was told I can have one now and come back any time any day and show the receipt to get the second. The following week, Halloween I went to their event. I showed my receipt and was told no by the same girl who gave me it. The manager said i couldn't have the drink I ordered and paid for due to stock take. I was dressed as the grim reaper and was told by the bouncer to take off my costume as well. It was Halloween, I was just sitting on the sofa on my own, there was no reason he asked me to take it off. I emailed my complaint the next day and was told they take this very seriously. 1.5 months and 2 emails later I have had no reply. Giving 2 stars as before they were taken over it was a lovely pub and a personal...

Used to be a great sports pub and venue but has drastically shifted direction. Great fun for bands and the like but completely neglectful of sports. Awful piped in music loud over the top of every game they refuse to turn off. Tvs often show a music channel the music isn't from. Shame they can't cater to both sports and bands. Hugely expensive as pubs go (essentially central London prices) as well which was stomach-able for the sports fixtures but not with the new dynamic. I wish them every success with the music scene as it's one of very few that give space to bands. However it needs to either embrace or ditch the sports it's a half way house on it and it doesn't work. If you like live music go if you like...

Awkward service... The waitress didn't really know about her menu (Witch just had kebab and Hot dogs). As soon as we ordered, we were asked to pay, no bill was presented. When requested she said the system had it on the screen. Soft drinks overly priced £ 3.4 (Obviously we had to calculate it) Even when we had finished our food an assistant came to clean the table, we said goodbye no answer was given, not even eye contact. The wrap was not grilled or any kind of toast. The meat inside felt like premade. On the good hand the chips were nice and crispy, the chef that came to bring us the plate was the friendliest and made me feel at ease. The location looked good too, nice terrace. Just 5 mins walk from...

What a lunch! My wife found out about The Eagle having a 100% vegan menu on the Eastbourne Vegan Facebook page, so we had to visit and I implore you to do the same. We had frickles, cheese fries, loaded nachos, the kebab and naked fries - basically we wanted to try it all and I'm so glad we did. The meal with a soft drink for all 3 of us it was £34.40. Very good value. The interior is filled with musical instruments and our 2 year-old loved all of the various artefacts. He even found a bubble machine! We now want to return to try the hot dog and Mac and cheese!

On a rainy tuesday we arrived in Eastbourne and were keen on a welcoming pub for a nice pint of beer. The eagle reached our sight and we stepped in. Here they serve different kinds of beer and play cool music in a welcoming and kind of spooky atmosphere. All the four different barkeepers we met were very friendly and up for a chat. In four days we visited four different times and enjoyed the good staropramen beer. Greetings from Germany Bavaria🍺

Wow, always walked by this place, it used to be one of those pubs that really didn't want to go in, but it's been transformed into a superb place, excellent rock music, nice array of drinks, good atmosphere and a full vegan menu of fun dirty type food, the guy behind the bar was so friendly as well, felt really welcomed. Will be back for sure.
