Mezbaan Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Eastleigh

I would like to bring to your attention, my son’s 30th birthday gathering at your restaurant on Saturday 6 th Oct, at 19:30 pm, which was previously confirmed early the same day, with a promise, that the booking can be handled appropriately.

Their was 14 of us, other smaller parties in the restaurant were attended too on occasions before us, manners cost nothing , the hospitality was very bad, meals were coming out late and not piping hot, some rice dishes was cold, my meal was taken away from me before I had actually finished.

I was unable at the time to talk to the staff or the management, bear in mind the earlier promise, so I should not of had a reason to have to talk to the staff, however I chose not too because I did not want to draw my son attention to this.

This is not the first time my Son has visited the restaurant, with great service , the reason for the party booking, it’s apparent the restaurant can not handle large groups, bookings.

I am not interested in any free meals or vouchers, however you understand of your restaurant business issues , which will affect your operating income, and future success ....

I’m very disappointed that I didn’t take any pictures of our food… it was gone or partially demolished at least, before it occurred to me.

We’ve been meaning to try Mezbaan since the new owners took over from Maya, but never got around to it until our reservation at an another restaurant tonight was cancelled.

How pleased we were! They accommodated us with no reservation. Service was slick, the menu interesting, the wines reasonably priced with a good selection. But the real jewel is the food; really tender and so tasty. We had an ‘eyes bigger than belly’ moment and ordered far too much, so the team very kindly packed it all up to send home with us. Lovely touch; on the tables little boxes of sweets for the ladies on Mother’s Day.

Visiting from Exeter, staying locally, I was informed that a visit to Mezbaan would not dissapoint and it did not.

The menu offered something different from many Indian restaurants and it made choice difficult but serving staff were more than happy to give recommendations. They are more than happy to spice dishes to meet your own, personal, taste. Presentation is impressive and, most importantly the flavours are outstanding. Their chef really delivers on all the dishes.

Service was very professional, helpful, informative and you are made to feel welcome.

The atmosphere is appealing. There is a fresh, crisp feel that also offers a very comfortable, enjoyable, environment.

Looking forward to eating here again the next time we are up. I have no reservations in recommending Mazbaan.
