The man serving on the was nice enough. Not particularly happy to pay 3.50 for a button pushed coffee that came half full and wasnt able to be topped up to a full cup? 😕 also got rudely misgendered by the lady pushing the machine buttons.. please invest in a real espresso machine and a real barista that can make beautiful coffee whilst showing attention to customers.. real disappointment for our day out. We left early to go get some proper beverages ^^

Pizza was okay, average, but the salad was very good, interesting idea. Overall, the menu had a small selection, which is strange because there’s nothing else around to eat. We were there on Sunday, and the waiting time for two pizzas and a salad was an hour. Definitely too long.

Was out walking with my daughter along the beach then we walked into victoria county park. came into the cedar rooms for lunch, as we were feeling hungry the food was delicious as always. We both had the two courses for £12each the staff are friendly as ever.

Over the years we've come to love the friendly incompetence of the cafe at Queen Victoria Country Park. They've always been very slow and totally hopeless but always lovely and friendly. The cedar rooms opened and seemingly doubled capacity. But, bless them, the management have still managed to completely mess it up! 🤣 It's complete chaos; no indication that you can only sit in the new bit if you order food from the bar (it's the same food from the same kitchen), the new bit is virtually empty because of the confusion , no extra catering staff, the existing staff are working their butts off while (what looks like) the 'management' does naff all etc etc etc. Those that run it have managed to completely bungle what should have been a really good cafe/restaurant. Well done to the few staff in the take away who seem to do all the work. Everyone else......

Ordered at 1-38pm and food came out at 2-10pm, we were still waiting until 2-35pm for dessert, the waitress said it was on the side and she would bring it out, 15 minutes later I had to go to the counter and ask for the desserts, the food was okay, but sausage and mash was tasteless and sausage tasted cheap, mash was not very nice, my mum had chips eggs and ham which was nice, my husbands meal consisted of 6 sweet potato squares and a mixture of measly vegetables, the only plus on this visit was the waiting staff who were a delight, £36 for food plus drinks was expensive for what we had, plus £4...
