Where do I start? I'm so cross, I'm writing this in the car driving away from Table Table. We had never been to TT for breakfast and not been for dinner for years, but booked a table for breakfast today (3/06/19) and were shown to the table by a lovely lady, who seemed to be the only server and was clearly running around like a headless chicken. There was another lady, who wore a pale pink shirt with birds on, and wore a lanyard, who I assumed was a manager. Not really sure what she did. She was so miserable. Another customer asked her for a straw and she said nothing to him. She gave him a straw and turned away. I then asked for more sugar, as there was none and she looked very annoyed, said nothing and dumped a handful of sugar in the basket- not a word from her. Awful customer service. When we went to get some of the continental breakfast items, there was barely anytthing there. We arrived at 8.30am, a little later than planned, but still at a time when food items should be fully stocked, but they weren't. There were four pastries when we arrived and these were not re-filled while we were there. This was the same for the pancakes. The fruit bowl was a joke; the oranges were clearly old and wrinkly- as if anyone would eat those. Really?! I found egg shell in my cooked breakfast, and crunched on them when I ate two mouthfuls.Tea spoons ran out, sugar ran out, cereal milk was almost empty when we arrived and again, not filled up. I told the lady in the pale bird shirt, that there was no soap in the ladies toilet. I knew she wouldn't re-fill it. I left it half an hour and went back to take my child to the toilet. What a surprise- no soap. Another problem was the strong musty smell that was around the dining area. As soon as I entered the door to the toilet from the dining area, I realised it was the toilets. It was like a blocked drain smell. Disgusting! Not what you want to smell, during a meal. I noticed that the place is very old, worn and tired. This isn't the staff's fault obviously, but it's not very nice. A fake leather booth chair, had the coating peeling away from it which affected half of the seat. It just looks awful. Unfortunately, we will not be going back to Table Table Eastleigh. It was the worst dining experience we have had for a long time.

August 2025 Early evening meal Not very busy on our arrival, but soon began to fill. Very good menu. We had very good service. The food main courses and desserts were very good and enjoyable. Very good early evening visit. Lunchtime menu includes a two for one deal. Good varied menu and a children's menu is also available. Very good staff Another visit to to restaurant, earlier visit I gave it THREE stars Today's visit seven months later than our previous visit. Very disappointing, Entered restaurant nobody available until a delay of a few minutes to take us to a table. Then a long delay for our drinks order. A few more minutes food order taken. Delay in the arrival of our meals. You may accept this service if the restaurant was extremely busy, this was not the case. If I was generous the restaurant was a quarter full. Not enough staff on duty. New rating only ONE star. This standard would be really disappointing for anybody staying at the Premier Inn.

I was so pleased with this restaurant. Went in with low expectations, but they were smashed. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. There's a brilliant range on the menu with something for everyone, especially vegetarians. The restaurant was clean and well presented, especially considering that it had been a busy Father's Day, and we went in the early evening. Our food came really quickly and was very tasty as well as prepared to a good standard. The serving size was great, especially the fish and chips. The prices are good and there's plenty of parking.

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment I had here I’ve been using this hotel and restaurant now for three years and have never complained Last night I ate here and it was ok Expensive but it was ok Tonight was hungry so we decided to go again I decided to have the same thing We were the only two in the restaurant but waited half an hour not sure why By the time the food got us was really hungry but the portions were tiny half the size of the evening before So I politely asked the woman who served us to come and take a look at how small the pieces of meat were and any chance of some bigger portions at which point she wanted to take the whole plate away I explained I was hungry but could she bring me some more chicken and gammon as far as she was aware I would of paid for them but didn’t ask She got angry and demanded the plate so I gave it She then came back empty handed saying it was the same as any night I explained no I had the same last night and it’s half the size She then said the chef has said no it’s the same I stated I was the customer and shouldn’t have to argue but can I speak to the chef At which point she said your talking to me I’m the manager The attitude was disgusting Which I told her I then said where is my dinner which she said it’s under a hot light of some sort So now it will be dry So I said I want a different dinner it will be dry by now So her response was to tell me to leave the restaurant Then she flew into reception lying saying I’d kicked of and call my company I explained I hadn’t kicked of but simply wasn’t happy with my food But can call my company but I’m the owner so talk to me I explained I was paying for the other meal but wasn’t interested Then my colleague came up to the room saying she Was going to call the police because he couldn’t pay So I went down to pay and again she had attitude saying I’d been shouting At no point had I which I explained which she said again leave the restaurant Awful experience Her name is Heather and apparently is the manager Not sure she is in the right position to deal with customers If you eat here what ever you do don’t complain Should of gone...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Gateway Table Table, a restaurant that offers a delightful selection of vegan and gluten-free options, including their exceptional vegan gluten-free English breakfast. I must say, it was a truly enjoyable experience.

As someone who follows a vegan and gluten-free diet, finding a restaurant that caters to my dietary needs can sometimes be a challenge. However, The Gateway Table Table exceeded my expectations. The vegan gluten-free English breakfast they served was delicious and satisfying. Each component of the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, from the perfectly seasoned vegan sausages to the flavorful grilled mushrooms and crispy hash browns. It was evident that great care was taken in ensuring that every element was not only gluten-free but also bursting with flavor.

The customer service at The Gateway Table Table was also commendable. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit. They were accommodating and willing to address any questions or special requests, further enhancing the overall dining experience.

What made my visit even more delightful was the fact that my 5-year-old son could enjoy a full English breakfast and eat for free. It's heartening to see a restaurant that values and caters to families, making dining out an affordable and enjoyable experience for parents with young children.

In summary, The Gateway Table Table is a gem for individuals seeking vegan and gluten-free options. Their vegan gluten-free English breakfast was both delicious and satisfying, and the customer service was top-notch. The added benefit of complimentary meals for young children is a thoughtful touch that sets this restaurant apart. I highly recommend visiting The Gateway Table Table for a memorable...
