Where do I start? I'm so cross, I'm writing this in the car driving away from Table Table. We had never been to TT for breakfast and not been for dinner for years, but booked a table for breakfast today (3/06/19) and were shown to the table by a lovely lady, who seemed to be the only server and was clearly running around like a headless chicken. There was another lady, who wore a pale pink shirt with birds on, and wore a lanyard, who I assumed was a manager. Not really sure what she did. She was so miserable. Another customer asked her for a straw and she said nothing to him. She gave him a straw and turned away. I then asked for more sugar, as there was none and she looked very annoyed, said nothing and dumped a handful of sugar in the basket- not a word from her. Awful customer service. When we went to get some of the continental breakfast items, there was barely anytthing there. We arrived at 8.30am, a little later than planned, but still at a time when food items should be fully stocked, but they weren't. There were four pastries when we arrived and these were not re-filled while we were there. This was the same for the pancakes. The fruit bowl was a joke; the oranges were clearly old and wrinkly- as if anyone would eat those. Really?! I found egg shell in my cooked breakfast, and crunched on them when I ate two mouthfuls.Tea spoons ran out, sugar ran out, cereal milk was almost empty when we arrived and again, not filled up. I told the lady in the pale bird shirt, that there was no soap in the ladies toilet. I knew she wouldn't re-fill it. I left it half an hour and went back to take my child to the toilet. What a surprise- no soap. Another problem was the strong musty smell that was around the dining area. As soon as I entered the door to the toilet from the dining area, I realised it was the toilets. It was like a blocked drain smell. Disgusting! Not what you want to smell, during a meal. I noticed that the place is very old, worn and tired. This isn't the staff's fault obviously, but it's not very nice. A fake leather booth chair, had the coating peeling away from it which affected half of the seat. It just looks awful. Unfortunately, we will not be going back to Table Table Eastleigh. It was the worst dining experience we have had for...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at The Gateway Table Table, a restaurant that offers a delightful selection of vegan and gluten-free options, including their exceptional vegan gluten-free English breakfast. I must say, it was a truly enjoyable experience.
As someone who follows a vegan and gluten-free diet, finding a restaurant that caters to my dietary needs can sometimes be a challenge. However, The Gateway Table Table exceeded my expectations. The vegan gluten-free English breakfast they served was delicious and satisfying. Each component of the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, from the perfectly seasoned vegan sausages to the flavorful grilled mushrooms and crispy hash browns. It was evident that great care was taken in ensuring that every element was not only gluten-free but also bursting with flavor.
The customer service at The Gateway Table Table was also commendable. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit. They were accommodating and willing to address any questions or special requests, further enhancing the overall dining experience.
What made my visit even more delightful was the fact that my 5-year-old son could enjoy a full English breakfast and eat for free. It's heartening to see a restaurant that values and caters to families, making dining out an affordable and enjoyable experience for parents with young children.
In summary, The Gateway Table Table is a gem for individuals seeking vegan and gluten-free options. Their vegan gluten-free English breakfast was both delicious and satisfying, and the customer service was top-notch. The added benefit of complimentary meals for young children is a thoughtful touch that sets this restaurant apart. I highly recommend visiting The Gateway Table Table for a memorable...
