Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Eastleigh

I go to Costa all the time as it is convenient and nice to get out the house with the baby.

Sadly, Costa has gone very downhill. The staff are friendly but do not provide the service you need to make a good experience, which you would expect when you are paying high prices. Everytime I have been (not just this Costa), they do not offer to help carry your hot drinks and food to your table, even though I was carrying a baby and lots of bags. Another lady had the same problem trying to get out the door with her pushchair and dropped her drink on the floor. The automatic doors have never worked here. In other coffee shops, they offer to bring the tray to a table, which makes such a difference. The staff forgot one of my items, so then I to get the baby back out the Highchair, carry her over, get the item I had paid that the staff had forgotten and leave my belongings unattended.

The cafe was clean and tidy, but there is no air con, so sitting in on a hot summer’s day is uncomfortable. Additionally, they were unable to make ice drinks today.

I would recommend that Costa review their customer service and ask employees to help those with young children, prams and mobility issues. However, this isn’t...

Just been here, ordered 2x caramel hot chocolates with marshnallows, a flat white and a chocolate frostino.

Served by a friendly young man on the tills who was very helpful. The general manager was making the drinks. She made 3 of ours and forgot one of the hot chocolates, when she asked us what we were waiting for we specified another caramel hot chocolate she blamed the man on the tills saying he only put one through, which he didn't because we saw him do it. There is no caramel in our hot chocolates, and only marshmallows in one, cream on the other which we didn't ask for.

Dissapointing, as you pay extra for the flavoured syrup. We would have gone back to change our drinks but we didn't have time as we are on our way to an event.

Also, although only having seen a very small snippet of the day, the general manager was talking down to the younger staff. Maybe if she had paid to more attention to what she was doing instead of criticizing the others; she might have made our drinks correctly.

The other times we've been here we have been served excellently...

I was there on Saturday morning the 12th of March 2022 And the staff were brilliant 👍 well done to all of them 👏 👍. However I have been there on other occasions and there's a manageress who is there sometimes who has No or very little P.R and needs to be removed as Manageress Or told to change her attitude towards the public. Apart from her the staff are really nice and friendly and kind So I wish that the Head Office of That store would have a word with this Manageress So that things would get better inperticulor The area Manageress called (( Samantha )) who is obviously not reading these posts or totally ignoring them. It's Wednesday the 20th of April and had a really nice coffee ☕ this morning and the Manageress was really nice and friendly So thankyou it was so nice to see a nice friendly store again 😊 Thankyou Mr S Matthews
