This has got to be the best Indian food in Surrey if not further. The quality and taste of the food is superb, and I say this as someone who regularly visits India. The menu is traditional 'Anglo Indian', recognisable to any one who enjoyed a 'curry' over the past 40 years and the service is friendly and relaxed. The decor is equally traditional, but don't let that put you off especially as the prices could easily come from 10 or 20 years ago. We recently ordered a take away for 4 people (which we collected). Cold Cobra beer and crisp poppadoms, with a generous pickle tray to begin. Then an excellent Chicken Madras. A succulent red sauce with loads of chicken pieces. Not too hot, but enough to bring the taste buds alive! Had it with potatoes and cauliflower and pilau rice, which had crispy onions as a garnish. The waiting staff are so friendly and excited about the new look interior. Give it a go - I donāt think you will be...
