PizzaExpress — Restaurant in Elmbridge

I booked a table for myself my little boy and his friend. When we arrived at the restaurant it was busy and hot, we sat for around 5-10 minuets, the children were hot and agitated. I put my hand up to ask for water as the children were parched. a waitress stormed up, leaned over and shouted aggressively in my face "YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT WE ARE BUSY!!!!" (she did not even give me chance to ask for water) my sons bottom lip started to quiver as he thought she was going to hit me.His friend was terrified and wanted to leave. I was humiliated and embarrassed. I did ask her not to be so rude and she just shouted me down. I am not complaining about the wait or the heat or the overcrowding, I have served tables and understand their pain. But the horrendous aggressive nature of the awful intimidating waitress.she knew exactly what she was doing, she was angry at how busy she was and decided to take it out on a single lady with children. It made me wonder if I had not been alone would she have been so aggressive? I think not! so for all the single mothers/fathers/caregivers I formally complain about this bully!!! The manageress was apologetic and very kind and served us quickly after the incident. But honestly two little boys are going to have nightmares about this...

As I am new in this area. I just went out with my mother and decided to eat at this restaurant. As soon as we walk in , we get greeted by someone called Patricia. As soon as we ask for a menu she starts looking at me and my mother in a very disgusted face, keep in mind, at this time which was around 1pm , there were barely any people in this restaurant. We ignore her disgusting face , and we sit down at the table suggested by Patricia. Continuing, we wait for Patricia to take mine and my mothers order and she finally comes to our table after 3 minutes roughly. My mother wasn’t decided yet but I was , and then Patricia has told me that she cannot serve both of us the same thing , because it would have to be separate, which was very confusing and quite rude in my opinion. Finally my mother has decided to take something as well, and when Patricia got confronted for her disgusting looks at me and my mother she blamed that we didn’t ask for a table of two at the beginning which is honestly a bad excuse. The food was very excellent , but the waiters treatment of customer was very bad and unprofessional.

PS: I recommend this restaurants manager to hire new smiley faces, this lady Patricia should probably...

I recently visited this place with my family and a friend’s family, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. We initially preferred to dine in, but a gentleman taking our order informed us there were no available tables and we would need to wait 20 minutes. However, most of the seats were clearly empty. When I politely inquired about this, he claimed the tables needed cleaning, which would take time.

Frustrated, we decided to take our food and eat outside instead. I then asked for a juice to go, but was told they couldn’t make it for takeaway because it only comes in a bottle—an explanation that didn’t make much sense. To make matters worse, another lady who was taking orders informed us they couldn’t accommodate us at all due to a lack of cleaning staff that day.

The whole experience was incredibly disappointing. The service was unorganized, and the staff seemed indifferent to the customers’ needs. I certainly won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant...
