The Viceroy — Restaurant in Elmbridge

Writing this review as a big fan of Indian cuisine, a person who has tried a lot of Indian food in my life! I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant- warm, nice lighting, nice Indian music and flowers, white table cloths, clean toilets. BYO!

The food can be hit and miss but once you know what’s best- it’s great!!

I recommend Prawn Purree, samosas, garlic naan, garlic chicken, aubergine curry, targa daal and pilau rice!! All amazing!!

I don’t recommend coconut rice as it has a lot of sugar neither do I recommend korma and pashwari for the same reason unless you want a dessert 🤣

Been here before and the food is always good. Went to come here tonight with my son. I only had my credit card and bank card and was told they prefer ‘hard’ cash and that if we used card it would be full price. Correct me if I am wrong but I’m am sure that the difference in price would be way more expensive than the credit card percentage a business pays on card transactions. We are not in the 1980’s and credit cards are not exactly rare. Sort it out guys. You have no excuses not to accept cards in this day and age. A...

Very clean and nice restaurant area, staff are attentive and very polite. We were the only people in on a late Monday evening but the atmosphere was still top.

We ordered loads! Sag paneer, vindaloo, rice's, lamb narag, poppadoms, king prawn puree, chicken tikka biriyani, cheese naan. You can bring your alcohol so we came with a bottle of wine. 10/10. 50% off if you pay with cash too!

You wouldn't think the price you pay is the quality you get.
