Great food, one of the best I've had in 10y in the UK. We've had one of the best fish dishes ever, Seafood Cataplana and Ameijoas a Bulhao Pato. The quality/price relationship is HIGH. The neighbourhood isn't exactly pristine, but fortunately as soon you enter it's a whole different world, so very well worth the 1h trip from Cambridge. We will be coming back, no question!

I organised our team Christmas lunch for 11 people here. I provided a pre-order for our main courses. The food was ready shortly after we arrived and the service was friendly, attentive and phenomenally efficient. A great time was had by all. We also ordered several desserts. A fantastic experience that I cannot fault.

I just waltzed in and I didn't have a reservation, it was my first time. The whole place was fully reserved but I loved how they treated me with respect (of course they thought I was fluent with Portuguese 😂 but eventually got that I was 'Anglaise') and they kindly told me there was no space. They offered take away and I took it..and even gave my son a lollipop.. Got home and my taste buds had stars. One meal is always enough even for two and it was well packaged and remained hot...

I went there because they were open and my gf really needed to use the toilet. I asked politely and stated it was urgent. The little man running the restaurant was so rude and told us it was for customers only. We said we would buy something and he kicked us out anyways. Extremely unprofessional and lacking empathy. I don't recommend you support...
