Lahore Tandoori Restaurant — Restaurant in England

We have been ordering from Lahore for years by recommendation. We have always been blown away with the quality of food we have ordered. Tonight was the worst meal we have ordered. To be collected at a particular time and we waited a further 40 minutes wait. Once home we found the Keema naan to be missing. We called and they delivered said naan. Our guest who ordered the naan questioned if we had ordered a plain naan instead. We found the whole meal to be very bland. The madras was just chilli type hot and watery, the biryani was just mixed vegetables without any flavour or seasoning and the rice was just rice and lamb which really didn’t taste like lamb. It could have been any red meat. Again no hint of what it should be. Onion bahjees raw inside. We are very disappointed to say the least. We always pass on the recommendation that we were given until tonight. Will find another Indian for the foreseeable future....

This was a great restaurant. Me and my family went out for dinner and found this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable from the moment we stepped in. We ordered the lahore set 1 for 4 and the lahore set 2 for 2. Those both were exactly enough for us and would realistically feed around 8 people. That costed 109.9 gbp. It took around 25 minutes for all the food to come out but passed quickly chatting with loved ones, and either way was completely worth it because all the food was very fresh and absolutely delicious. We thank all staff members who were all very helpful and kind. There is a washroom and prayer room that you can be escorted to if needed. We ended the vening with karak chai and more talking which was delightful. It was overall a wonderful restaurant with great food, staff, and atmosphere. I would recommend...

Went here with two friends on Friday 28th January. We reserved a table. We arrived at 6:45 and left at 9:10 (nearly 2 1/2 hours). Not because we ate slow, but because the service was very slow.

We had starters and main. Starters came fairly quick, but we waited a long time for the mains. When the waiter was taking our order, he left us part way through twice to answer the phone. A large group came in after we had placed our order, and they were eating their food before our mains arrived.

However, the food was very nice and quite reasonably priced. They did apologise for the wait.
