We visited the Abbey tearooms on our walk at Bolton Abbey, we parked up in the abbey carpark and walk through the village across the road through the gate going into The abbey grounds , following the path we turned right and followed the river to The Devonshire Arms , just across the road it’s a lovely Abbey tea rooms, we were met with a friendly welcome and picked a table , which is waiter service , I ordered the all day breakfast which was well cooked with beautiful tasty local ingredients , my wife had the jacket potato with chilli which came with a side salad and Coleslaw it was piping hot and very filling , also the coffees were excellent , The establishment has small carpark at the rear and welcomes cyclists and dog walkers alike. I can recommend the abbey tearoom’s whether you want to stop off for a full substantial meal or a coffee and a very large slice of cake .

Lovely little tea room with a great range of food on the menu and special boards. We stopped off for tea for two but the tea room was busy and the food that was being served to the other tables looked amazing and great portion sizes. There is a free on-site parking area if you are dining there, an outside seating area with a dog bowl (dogs allowed inside too), and a toilet and separate changing area for babies. The prices are very reasonable and the staff lovely. We will definitely be returning.

Very nice place.. Stopped on way to the coast for a coffee and a scone.. Really good service and very tasty warm Scone.. Offer 2 types, cheese or sultana. Gotta be the later.. It was very nice.. Love places like this, they are so welcoming and friendly. If course not far from Bolton Abbey so looks historical too. Wish the UK was more like this than the run down places I usually see on my journeys. Anyway, recommended.

Excellent. ..

4 of us visited Abbey Tea Rooms today 1st of January 2019. 2 of our group had the cauliflower and broccoli soup, I had the pea soup and another had a scone with cream and jam. We each had a hot drink. Everything was excellent. The prices were very reasonable considering that it was Bolton Abbey(or very near). The waiter / waitresses were very good, very competent, they were friendly and polite. One thing that amazed me was that this little cafe/tearoom in the Yorkshire Dales has a card machine that is contactless WOW. I went to B&Q in Keighley last week and they don't have the contactless payment facility. Come on B&Q catch up. Well done to all at Abbey Tea Rooms. We will...
