Amanda's Ow Bistro — Restaurant in England

Being a regular customer went in today for a breakfast and got turned away by staff saying as Amanda is away n we are busy we've stopped serving breakfast yet they had just served a couple with breakfast and was only 4 customers there girl behind counter literally laughed and said ooh we stopped servicing breakfast other girl said ooh we got bacon and sausages so if they were already cooked how ling could eggs hash browns and beans have taken to do. Seems like everytime Amanda's away the kids are just lazy I've been in a good few times when she's been away and the services is just dismal they take orders and miss items off, give you cooked food but no toast till you ask for them and today the girl behind counter looked like had got out of bed and just turned up to work hair all over the place no self presentation. Sorry to say this but these young lazy kids will be the downfall of your business Amanda as ive been in with you there n it's been much busier and never been refused service ever. The tall girl needs a lesson in personal hygiene and presentation and how to address customers correctly. It's no winder I've had so many people say rather go to the elephant then come into yours and saying e place falls apart service standards without you there the service drops badly, one of the girls ots clear everytime I've been in dnt care about the job the same one you've had goes at for turning up late or not even turning up, think you need to reconsider her...

my daughter looked in as we walked past and said how nice and welcoming it looked. so we made a unscheduled stop for a bite to eat and a drink. The cafe gave off a nice warm atmosphere & we noticed right away how clean & Colorful it was. My daughter has issues eating in public so it was nice to see her relaxing and enjoying her food. To be honest i was shocked she sat there and enjoyed and relaxed

we ordered jacket potatoes, the topping selection was very modern and plentiful. I had the coronation chicken and she had the cheese, they were both fresh, hot, soft with a very generous amount of filling with a side salad, Perfect. I've not seen my daughter relax and enjoy her food like that in a long time. that in itself holds more than words can say trust me on that.

Lovely place service was quick and efficient food was well cooked and very tasty. We had a large breakfast each my partner had a pot of tea which he managed 3 cups from and I had a lovely strong filter coffee. The place was packed when we first got there and so we went for a walk around and came back and we're so glad we did. Nice portions to fill you up but not leaving you feeling to over filled. we brought two sausage rolls that were homemade by Amanda and tasted divine.
