Amici Coffee — Restaurant in England

I received a free meal from Amici from a Mothers Day competition I won. Upon arriving the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the cafe was very clean and tidy despite it being fairly busy. I ordered the full breakfast and it was lovely, cooked to perfection and of a generous size portion my child also had the children's brunch which was also of a generous size. No faults at all and very filling. There is a huge variety of food on the menu I'll definitely be returning. I would also like to say a huge thank you for the meals and the lovely bunch of flowers you kindly gave me it was a huge surprise and very thoughtful 😊 Have already recommended to friends and family.

I'm not sure what happened to this place, I visited three or four times previously and had a good experience.

Yesterday's visit was dreadful, unfortunately. I ordered a veggie english breakfast and coffee. The cafe was not busy at all.

The milk in the coffee had turned, had to return it... The breakfast took 25 minutes to arrive and it was pretty shocking. Four completely carbonised mushrooms, carbonised eggs, carbonised and tasteless sausages and some sort of fake bacon completely bathing in cooking oil. It was just awful.

I had to remind them to bring the toast and when it did, guess what? Yep, completely and utterly carbonised. Even the guys sitting at the opposite table were laughing at the state of the "breakfast".

Maybe the cook had a bad day but I'm not sure how such poor cooking standards...

Ok you are new so have given you 2 stars But your Coffee don’t taste very nice at all . I visit hundreds of coffee bars and yours doesn’t taste right. I stopped as live locally firstly you order taking bit doesnt work Waited five minutes in the queue at the payment window and then asked for a double empresso macchiato (why you don’t call ia double a dopio I don’t understand ) One trainee who was doing her best but the one teaching her had never done one before and don’t know how to make it and it’s a basic coffee lesson Was offered a loyalty card then charge £2.80 Which is the price for a full macchiato Didn’t get asked did I want anything else and I did also no offer of sugar ?? Couldn’t be bothered to query it as times are hard But then tried the coffee OMG Tried it again...
