Pecoro — Restaurant in England

2 years of repeat custom and tonight they've lost a customer. Order well over an hour late b4 eventually cancelling. After it being 30 minute's late we called and overheard staff saying its been left on top of the oven. So wouldn't have been hot or fresh. After hearing this and waiting another 30 minutes we decided to cancel, it was just too late to continue waiting. The person taking our call said "we have another customer who wants to cancel." They had 1 driver and clearly it was a challenging situation, one I understand they will be addressing. A good wil gesture would have gone a long way. They really missed a trick, could have offered some discount on our next order to retain our business. Instead we got a full refund and no food. Reluctantly we will take our business elsewhere out of principle. Such a shame as always found the staff and delivery service to be polite and punctual. The food always great. Since posting this, we have recieved an apology and the refund has been delivered...

Recently visited Pecoro, and it's worth mentioning that the place is dog-friendly, which is a nice touch for pet owners. However, my overall experience was a bit underwhelming. The Margherita pizza, priced at £9.50, didn't quite meet expectations in terms of flavor and texture.

The Focaccia lacked the care and attention to detail that could elevate it to a memorable dish. On a positive note, the atmosphere is warm, and the fact that it's dog-friendly adds a welcoming touch.

The Chocolate Cake, at £4, was thinly sliced and didn't quite live up to the price point.

Service was okay, and I believe there's potential for improvement in the quality of ingredients and presentation. While the dog-friendly aspect is commendable, I felt Pecoro falls short of being a standout...

My wife and I celebrated our wedding this week and we hired Alan and the team at Pecoro to provide pizzas for our guests and I honestly couldn’t recommend them anymore.

We had around 180 guests and the feedback we received on the day (and still 2 days later via messages) has been absolutely incredible. People have been non-stop raving about the pizzas being the best they’ve ever had!!

The service was phenomenal - even just from the communication pre-event, through to on the day, and afterwards.

Like I said before - I’ve lost count of the amount of guests who went out of their way to let us know how bloody good the pizzas were!
