Stopped here for lunch after cycling the Camel Trail from Wadebridge and so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. I had the Cheesy B burrito which was a stunning combo of halloumi, hash brown, tasty avocado salsa, scrambled egg and possibly some more cheese. The toasties were equally delicious and everything was served hot and speedily. The staff were really friendly and the view from the bench that we sat on to enjoy our lunch was a beautiful backdrop. Normally we’d go into Padstow for pasties and chips but I was so pleased to try this place for the first time and will definitely be back to try more of the fab menu. Handy toilets nearby to wash hands and freshen up. Edit: came back again in Aug ā€˜23 for another Cheesy B after dreaming of one since the last time. Just as excellent this time. Remembered to take a pic.

My wife and I visited and ordered a standard breakfast, a big breakfast, a cappuccino and a hot chocolate. We had seen that the reviews were great and we were not disappointed! The staff were friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was very clean. Our order was taken promptly. When our food arrived, the plates were hot and the food was piping hot. The sausages and bacon were very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful! Multiple staff checked that we were happy with our food and were very personable. Was lovely to support a family business and hope many more people do so. Would highly recommend!

We were recommended Ben’s Crib Box Cafe by a lady in one of Rick Stein’s cafe when we couldn’t get a seat. It’s right near the Lobster Hatchery in the harbour. We ordered our food with the lovely friendly lady and sat down. It wasn’t long and our Hogs pudding bun and hash brown was ready. It was cooked beautifully and absolutely hit the spot. We have been back since, not even bothered trying Rick Steins. He may be everywhere in Padstow, but honestly, give Ben’s Crib box a try. Padstow is a gorgeous town, can’t go wrong starting here.

Down in Padstow for August summer holidays. I'd already decided to visit this cafe as the reviews and pictures looked lovely and right at the end of the Camel Trail. I had no intention of visiting the other High profile chip shop. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and the streets were packed, brilliant to see so many people holidaying in the UK šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§. Upon arriving at the cafe a little before 3pm....imagine our surprise to be told they stop serving food at 2.30pm only coffee and ice creams available. Given the crowds of people around I was bemused. Maybe it's a licensing thing who knows. I've given a 4 star review based upon the location, menu and prices along with other people's photos of food. Real shame they close at 2.30pm. We'll visit another time but on this occasion we spent Ā£50 in that other chip shop just up the road, and I must say...

4 of us stayed in Padstow and we found you on our walks. We thought we would give it a go after a few places for food were not that good. We all had breakfast and 2 were vegetarian breakfasts. They let us swop a few things on the breakfast for extras. What can i say.. The breakfast was the best ive ever had,the staff were very very friendly and chatty, the place was spotlessly clean and the coffee was really nice. I normally dont eat breakfast but it was perfect so we returned 2 days later and again it was delicious and a very friendly group. The cook was only a young lad but my you can certainly cook a great breakfast. Ben made us feel very comfortable by being very chatty. 10out of 10. If your about in Padstow go give it a try you certainly wont be...
