Billy's All Day Diner — Restaurant in England

My experiences at this establishment have been consistently disappointing. I've visited several times, starting shortly after they opened. My initial visit featured overpriced food that was of very low quality. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming it was due to being new business and maybe they had teething problems... My second visit was marginally better, but I was disappointed to find they don't use traditional ingredients like proper bacon, sausages, or black pudding in their 'full English' breakfast that isn't very English at all. My brother also had a fish and chips meal on a separate visit, which he found to be of an acceptable standard. Yesterday, I ordered a chicken and mushroom pie with chips. The quality was extremely poor, as shown in the attached photo, and it resulted in an upset stomach. I visited around 4 PM, and the staff seemed dismissive, as if I was an inconvenience. Perhaps it was because my order was small, but as a local resident, I am now inclined to discourage others from visiting. I recommend the Giggling Sausage cafe nearby instead. I won't be returning to this establishment. The poor food quality felt unnecessarily bad and felt...

Just went today (16.05.23) to try their breakfast and I have been gobsmacked by the lovely service we have received. The chef it's such a cool guy and it feels like we knew eachother a lifetime. Always with a smile on his face , friendly and polite. The waitress was just incredible from the start to finish. Sweet, friendly, happy and always there to help. She was happy to accommodate my "customised" breakfast without any problem and had always a positive attitude.

The prices are good and justified for the service and food quality they provide. The place was spotless clean and outside area was a nice plus.

Coming from an almost daily customer who hates eating out and from outside hands ... Freshly cooked amazing quality food across the menu be it full breakfast, fish and chips or kebabs plus so much more at decent prices and good quantity, something to order catering for everyone's different individual taste and liking. Top class hygiene and cleanliness amazing and friendly well mannered decent staff easy to communicate with an impeccable service and regular busy atmosphere that all customers enjoy thoroughly definitely top diner in Northampton ... Well done guys you deserve this recommendation wholeheartedly and the smoothies are amazing to. Have not seen one fault yet and a diner to such a high standard ever in this whole...
