KFC Northampton - Towcester Road — Restaurant in England

The exterior looks like they closed down months ago. Needs updating or at least weedkiller. The interior however has been updated to the corporate new model. With only 2 customers the service was a slow experience and a tad noisy as the previous customer had obvious issues with his order. Eventually this was resolved but not without the whole crew stopping to debate what had happened. As for our ordered food it can only be described as an expensive joke. How much longer can KFC get away with selling 12 soggy uncooked chips as a portion. They taste like the leftover chips that didn't quite make the grade or plate from the air fryer, that you scrape out the next day. The burgers are so overrated a cheap chicken burger with hardly any ingredients inside a soft tasteless bun. The cost of this burger, 12 chips ( there not fries) plus a regular pepsi over £7 there's currently high inflation but this was purely a waste of money for what is offered. KFC has never been a budget bashing fast food establishment but it's now a budget restaurant only in food quality and customer service. Only gave 2 stars as it was clean inside. Oh and remember to smile and greet your customer they are not...

Try anywhere but here! My 5 worst KFC experiences have all been in this location over the past 4years. I would rather travel to another town if I could but this is the only halal one around in East Mids. I hate going here as they pretty much always screw up our order. My family dragged me back there today after almost 12months to see if anything had changed but despite the new faces.....same old story! After waiting 15mins for a couple of burgers I enquired what was taking so long to which they had no reply. It turned out they had lost our order & in the ensuing panic that followed they gave us the wrong burgers. All in all it took a full 30MINS before we were able to start eating what we actually ordered! A weak apology was offered but no mention of any money back/ complimentary offer & the manager tried to avoid us like the plague. Once again I am left disgusted by the level of service & laziness of their staff. I hope KFC revoke their franchise licence as its damaging their reputation. Also has does a family restaurant NOT have any baby changing...

This KFC is a dirty awful place in need of a good clean. Don't use the toilets they are in need of a good clean and they smell horrific. Staff uniforms are not very clean, the whole experience here is terrible and if it was your first visit to KFC you wouldn't ever go back. I use KFC often and know that there products are good and this location is just a rotten apple. If I was KFC I would look at going into this branch and closing it down as it's a black mark against their brand. The management don't show any signs that they have the slightest idea about food safety and management. I had seen a manager empty a bin in the restaurant then without washing his hands go and serve food. It was at that point I asked for a refund and left. I believe they only have 3 stars for hygiene by the local environmental protection agency I wouldn't be surprised if it drops even further. Yum group needs to go in there and close them down before someone is made ill by poor hygiene management. If I could have given less than one star I would have...
