I cant complain about the food at all but the service is questionable.

They often run out of chips and last night they were turning people away less than 2 hours after opening due to lack of chips. It was embarrassing for the delivery drivers picking up orders as they were being instructed to cancel orders placed 45 minutes prior to them arriving costing them money and business.

I was given order number 24 and so were 3 other customers causing mass confusion and leading to people leaving with the wrong orders. Due to chip gate it meant those waiting then had to have small chips or no chips. In the end I asked for my money back and went elsewhere.

If I could give advice, it would be to plan your chippy business with ordering enough essential potatoes. A given really! Your working 4 hours and would know before you open if that's enough.

I'd also suggest when handing over orders to read out what was placed so they know it's the correct order. It takes seconds but saves alot of embarrassment

I'd also suggest a better number system. You should not be giving out the same number to 4 customers in a row. You use key fobs with numbers on and then clearly put them back in to the pot. I'd suggest the paper numbers you tear off. That way when it's used, it's gone. No mistakes can...

Ordered at 6:50pm via phone call and told 20 mins wait for a simple cod and chips. Arrived paid and was given my food at 7:30pm so well over the 20mins. got the food home which initially looked good, I cut the cod in half and realised one side was more batter than fish and the other side was dry with rock hard batter so it’s been well overcooked! The chips yeah it s decent portion squashed into a small bag. I asked for salt and vinegar but I never tasted anything was added! I was unable to eat the cod due to the dryness and hard batter so decided to take it back to the shop to show them before they closed and the answer I got was if I was whole they’d refund me so I showed how rock hard it was on their counter but they just said it’s how they cook the fish! If you want over cooked dry fish then please go here otherwise...

It's ok...

I heard this place just recently opened up and it looked great from the outside. I thought as it was my local fish & chips store I thought why not.

When you order you will get given a tag (a number) When is food ready they will call for your number. I found it strange how I ordered two meals but they were all in seprate bags. I was expecting two meals one of each box and also didnt get offered any Salt or Vinegar, you have to request it when you order. I only waited for 10-15 minutes and wasnt that busy at all. The time I got home from a 3 minute walk the chips were cold and didnt taste good. I don't know if I would go back. I have had better.

Also they accept card if you spend £10 or more.
