This was our first and we will definitely go back. The bistro is well set out with plenty of space around the tables and nice decor. There are accessible restroom facilties and changing facilities. The menus is varied and the food freshly prepared. Very nice coffee and a selection of homemade cakes. Thw lady that served us was very pleasant.

No space outside but loads inside. We all got bacon and egg butties and they were great. Coffee were good. Bikes leaned up against the window! Friendly and helpful staff.... what more do you want to know!

Not sure where the other reviewers of this place are reviewing, but it certainly wasn’t my experience of the place. Only 1 member of staff on, who was doing absolutely everything and it showed, despite her efforts to appear pleasant and happy. Food was extremely sub-standard, especially for the price. Chips tasted really dry, something that I’ve never experienced before. The side salad consisted of lettuce leaves, 1 slice of cucumber and half a tomato. The cheeseburger had a nice burger in it, a nice bun, but a cheap cheese slice on it, plus it was absolutely loaded with what was described on the menu as relish, but was actually tomato sauce, with chopped onions in it. All I could taste was this alleged relish. Every restaurant / cafe that I have been to in the past decade, now puts their relish in a small ramekin, enabling the customer to choose how much, or how little they would like to consume of it. They don’t just smother your meal with it, with a that’s what your having, like it or lump it scenario. That’s what happens at burger vans, you don’t expect that at a restaurant. My partners meal didn’t look any more appetising and basically looked like what it was, cheap frozen food, warmed up, with some more moisture robbing chips, all at an extremely high price. Definitely not somewhere that I can recommend or will ever ever...

Went for a breakfast as a second choice as our favourite cafe was closed. I love salmon and scrambled egg on a muffin so when I saw it on the menu I was looking forward to eating. When it finally came presentation would have made Gordon Ramsay walk out in disgust. Not only could I have presented it better at home but it cost 6.50 for our breakfast looking worse than what I feed my cat. Started to eat it hoping it would taste better and realised it wasn't a muffin after all but a stale toasted bun. Couldn't manage it as it was vile and decided to only eat egg and salmon as to not waste my money. And both left me feeling ill and scammed. When I went to pay I confronted the woman and asked her why it stated muffin on the menu when she had served me a stale bun. She said this is what they mean by muffin. Felt ill all the way home and immediately ate some fruit to get rid of the foul...

We booked a table for lunch which was a good idea as it was pretty busy. They took a long time to take our order and bring the food, but there was only one lady dealing with the tables and was run ragged so I can't complain as she was working really hard. The food was good, except I asked for the chips to be well done and crispy (I hate soggy chips) but sadly everyone's chips were very pale and soggy including mine which was a bit disappointing. It's a sweet little cafe with a small garden sitting area, and the range of food is great, ranging from snacks to full meals (pies, burgers, scampi etc), There were a few veggie options, and fish choices as well as a kids menu. There is no parking but the town centre parking is nearby so there shouldn't be too much of an issue if...
