Breeze Bar & Grill — Restaurant in England

They say you get what you pay for, but not at this particular restaurant/takeaway! Their meals are very expensive at just five pence under £17 for fish and chips, which I bought two of. I bought the kids a burger each and they seemed to enjoy them, well at £25 for two burger I would hope so!

Ok, this review is for the fish and chips only. Once I ordered my meals, I asked how long I can expect to wait, they said about half an hour, which I thought was reasonable considering what I ordered.

Less than 10 minute's later it all turned up! The fish was fried to with-in and inch of their lives, all hard and crusty and tasted nasty, real nasty. The chips were hard and didn't taste good either, the only thing good about this meal was the mushy peas and all for not much short of £60.

Currently on holiday here and the food is second to none! Very tasty 😋 fresh and hot ! However the service needs more attention ! Understandably we are just coming out of a pandemic 😷 however only having 1 person working at any one time is ridiculous !! Drinks come out slower than the food! We waited 15 minutes after our drinks order had been taken because the poor girl was the only one working and she had to keep stopping to go get the food from the kitchen. I also noticed an area in restaurant pro dominantly used by staff where they gather sit down and have a chat always someone there with a lap top and coffee! We stayed at chisel beach and treated ourselves to a meal at the restaurant. I wish I hadn't wasted our money. The staff were lovely, but the service was really slow. The table water we asked for never arrived. The lamb kofta special with "Greek salad" came with a pile of grated cabbage and carrot. Not an olive, feta or cucumber in sight. It was very disappointing. The chili had a crust where it had obviously been sitting under a hot light. The children's chicken burger was spicy. I wouldn't recommend it...
