First I must comment on the quality of the food and the brilliant service we received from The Veterans Hub. The staff are delightful and they serve a range of hot food, delicious cakes and treats, and drinks to suit everyone. It is well worth a visit to their lovely decked garden and enjoy the atmosphere whilst supporting a wonderful cause. Whether you are visiting or a local, I would highly recommend!
I must also comment on the character of the owners, Andy and Lisa, who looked after my family and I after an accident. We just happened to be passing by but Andy couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. Upon returning a few days later Lisa was equally as supportive and we couldn’t be more grateful. This is a testament to the selflessness and good nature of these people, and they are an asset to the community!

Read moreWhat a lovely friendly establishment, only down side was not much space inside, but plenty of outside seating! An who wants to sit inside anyway!!! We only had lattes here but we were in there chatting for over an hour an a half, felt so comfy! It's lovely an clean, it has a true community spirit, it seems like a place if you walked in alone, you certainly wouldn't feel alone after being there a few minutes🙂 I have nothing but praise your the veterans hub, certainly wasn't what I expected! It really is a pleasant experience there, certainly somewhere since going I have recommended to my friends an family! Keep up the excellent work guys you have got it...

There's a vegetable garden set aside for veterans too grow veg .. And what they don't eat they give too locals .
Didn't have any money on me. Card yes Saw there was some lemon tea ,see picture. ,which you could have for a small donation . Corinne,who volunteers in the cafe,out of the kindness of her heart gave me some, and put a pound in the box,herself . That small gesture of a pound made my day .x Now that shows ,they are there too help one another.. Thankyou ....
