If i could give a no star rating i wouls Absoloutely diabolical visit today 6-11-21 Que'd for 20 mins to be served or shall i say ackknowledged 2 other Customers infront of me 1 disabled lady at the front walked out 5 people stood around (they'd been there 45 mins awaiting food already ordered) plus 2 very disgruntled just eat drivers 2 infact ask for a refund after waiting over an hour for there food At first 5 staff on the 2 dissapeared not to return one in the office texting on there mobile my whole visit 1member of staff doing ALL the food prep 2 just wondering around The one who served me had false eyelashes on that nearly touched the sky and pink nailpolish (Really in a food enviroment !!) And none of them had hairnets or hats on The ship was filthy and i dont say that lightheartedly Behind the counter the floor was coverd in cup lids straws and chips that had clearly been there a while After being stood at the counter 51 minutes the food that had been left standing for 25mins in the hothold was finally slapped in a bag when i told her we was sitting in she just shoved a tray towards me and walked off NO apology for waiting so long Well what can i say about the food apart from the chilli cheese bites (they were the only hot thing served) the food was inedible and COLD My whopper meal was def not a whopper it was a child size burger with cold non cooked i presume bacon infact it was a strip of fat in a dry bun Hubbys steakhouse burger was just a burger with a handful of soggy roquet in a dry brioche bun The chips that were meant to be large well dont even get me started on that one ! Read moreI gave an overall of ⭐ ⭐⭐ why? Because of the complete customer experience. Whilst the food is good 👍🏼 especially the fries 🍟 my favourite the Mayo Crispy chicken burger Unfortunately the customer service leaves something of a deserving ⭐ ⭐ because depending, you are not always welcomed with a smile & it doesn't feel like the staff enjoy what they do & even if they don't it shouldn't reflect onto the customers. There are in fact some staff (I'm thinking 🤔 of an older lady with purple hair tied in a pony tail whom delivers that customer experience & makes you feel good about being there. I have never quite understood why at any time the Burger 👑 king Grimsby is empty of customers & only seems to survive through food courier service orders. The scraping chairs on the flooring works like nails on a chalk board when moved & seemingly is lacking warmth & atmosphere for me at least. The lighting of Burger King on the building makes interesting reading as not all the letters light up giving an impression of run down & forgotten. It is in a corner off the road in fact & needs some flagging & a fresh coat of love on the outer building which might attract a bigger customer base. In turn with more customers perhaps the staff might become less lethargic. One customer or one hundred customers the welcoming experience should be the same. Read moreI was visiting my home town and entered the store. I'd not been there in years and decided to get a whopper meal with a coke zero. After ordering, I sat down and noticed how damaged the seats were and then started to take in the surroundings. the place was an absolute disgrace! Messy/dirty floors, damaged seats all along on both sides between the entrance and collection point (wish id taken in surroundings on entry).
I was told that the ice machine is broken and breaks whenever its hot, how ironic! Earliest it will be fixed is September 2022... Thats disgraceful!
In addition, I was told that they had no full size buns remaining and the app where i placed the order should have told me... It didnt! I was told to cancel my order on the app due to the issues noted above or I could accept junior size buns. I tried cancelling but the app wouldnt allow it, maybe this is by design or because i was already in store and/or my order had been started... whatever the reason, I had no choice but to accept the junior size buns.
To make matters worse, the staff then became aware of a sewage issue near the drive thru and became quite concerned. No idea if this were reported.
The food was fine for a fast food solution in a pinch but never again will I visit this BK store.
