I like this place, it's a nice place to sit in or out, good tunes but don't rely on this place for food because their website stated that Good burger would be on the premises on 20th and 21st June and that was part of the reason we thought we'd drive through from Scunthorpe to have a craft beer and a great burger. They werent there and aren't expected until the following weekend apparently despite what the website said. Thing is it leaves you in a situation of having to go and find food somewhere else at a time of the afternoon where everything on Freeman St was either closing or not due to open til later in the evening. Also some beer descriptions aren't too accurate, the Dubh stout was described as silky smooth but it turned out to be quite fizzy and sour tasting.
Following on from this review, I actually ordered some merch because they do have cool merch and I wanted to put something away for my partner for Christmas, the courier did not deliver the parcel even though we were in, they never even came to our area, I had to post across community to thankfully find a out by sheer luck that the parcel has been dumped at a random address 1.5 miles away! Read moreTop place to go with really good clean IPAs. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. We're from out the area and they were very nice and recommended drinks to us which were all nice. They even had some Brewdog collaborations. You can see where beer is made/ brewed here too which is very interesting.
Ben top guy with great recommendations.
Actually one of the cleanest places I've ever been to ever. The lady with pink in her hair was cleaning and I mean literally everything in there, no exaggeration, to an amazing level.
Lovely Christmas decorations too since we visited in December.
I would definitely visit here when back in...
