Caesar Kitchen Chester Le Street — Restaurant in England

It's quite rare I give such a negative review, but this was the most disappointing pizza I've had in years. Very raw in the middle. Large meatfeast that genuinely looked really nice. That's where the positive side ended.

Uncooked in the middle, the beef topping was nothing but gristle, chicken was the driest part which suggests it's an old product.

The 'garlic' sauce was much more like the mint yoghurt you get with an Indian starter. It was quite expensive and tasted like a microwaved frozen pizza using the cheapest meat toppings you can get.

Definitely won't be going back. Bitterly disappointed, several others nearby that are immeasurably better...

Mo and the gang have been excellent for the last 25 years, and I used to live on Explosive pizzas while I worked down at Chester le Street for 20 of them. Mo's kebab meat is the best I've tasted unless it's been on the spit too long and becomes a bit crispy. I was delighted to discover the web menu tonight and that they now take card payments, hurrah. My Turkish Delight pizza was scrummy, but I'll have to revisit the Explosive, mmmmmmmm. The menu these days has a COLLOSSAL variety, sure to tickle any palate. Got a mixed kebab wrap which was huge and really tasty, not dry doner meat like some places. Garlic and chilli with loads of fresh salad, really delicious. Also got a burger and a garlic bread, burger was lovely and the garlic bread was the deepest dish pizza I've ever had and mega garlicy! Would definitely go here again.
