We visited on the first sunny Sunday of the year, but we're extremely disappointed to find we couldn't get a lunch there - even a bowl of soup would've been nice (and easy for them, with large profit). We waited ages in a long queue then found the only food was sandwiches - but they'd run out of bread. Surely they could have predicted there would be lots of customers in a nice day and bought more food in? (or even nipped out to a nearby shop and bought another loaf?!). So they lost out on our custom, as we were a party of five all prepared to buy a lunch. Also, there was only one toilet, and the queue for that was massive (supposedly for customers only, but people coming in off the street too, as no public toilets that end of the seafront). I appreciate this is a community run cafe made up mainly of volunteers, but it could be run so much better - and make more money...

Queuing to order was a little on the slow side but suspect that the volunteer was fairly new. Food was good quality, well presented and reasonably priced. I applaud that the cafe is dog-friendly but wonder if it should be dog-free over the busy lunchtime period. (Two very yappy dogs in a busy noisy room on this visit.)
